The formation of Su-30MK2 fighter jets dominates the sky towards September 2

(VTC News) - These days, at the airport of Regiment 927 (Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force Service), Su-30MK2 fighters are continuously training in large formations, preparing for National Day, September 2.

The training day to serve the large flight formation to celebrate the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd began with a meteorological reconnaissance flight conducted by Colonel Nguyen Quang Hai, Commander of Regiment 927, at 6:00 a.m.

As usual, before performing the mission of mastering the sky, Su-30MK2 fighters are thoroughly checked by pilots directly participating in the flight, to ensure the best technical condition for each sortie.

Immediately after receiving the order, a series of modern Su-30MK2 fighters quickly maneuvered into position on the runway, turned on the boost and took off one by one, soaring into the sky of Bac Ninh province.

After dominating the sky, the Su-30MK2 fighters began forming into formations of five, taking turns training at different altitudes with increasing difficulty.

This process helps pilots accurately determine distance and flight speed in formation, improving the ability to coordinate in the air.

According to the training plan, the Su-30MK2 formation performed descent, low flight and close approach to the formation, creating an impressive performance, demonstrating technical mastery and close coordination between pilots.

In the final training round, after flying over the command center area, the Su-30MK2 formation performed the maneuver to disband the airborne formation, ending the 1-hour training session as planned.

In addition to the 5-plane formation, a 3-plane formation also participated in this training session. This formation has become familiar since it appeared in the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The impressive images of Su-30MK2 fighter formations in recent times have become a prominent mark in the implementation of the 2020-2025 mission of the Air Defense - Air Force. Looking forward to the upcoming important national events, the Service will continue to promote the achievements, set many new feats, and welcome the Party Congress of the Air Defense - Air Force for the 2025-2030 term.

Lieutenant Colonel Chu Quoc Khanh, Deputy Commander of Military Training, Regiment 927, Division 371, Air Defense - Air Force (far left) shared: “Air Force Regiment 927 is the main unit carrying out this mission. With a large number of aircraft, we always have to be ready to coordinate closely, urgently and accurately during take-off and landing to ensure the most effective and absolutely safe training, towards celebrating National Day September 2nd”.
