With the ultimate goal of maintaining a stable network and restoring services as quickly as possible when problems arise, VNPT has deployed technical staff at key locations, readying human resources, vehicles and materials for rescue.
Accordingly, VNPT has thoroughly implemented the spirit of “4 on-site” to all units in the storm area. Technical staff are deployed on duty 24/7 at key stations, and at the same time, a mobile information response team has been established to ensure readiness to handle any arising situations.

Notably, VNPT has mobilized additional modern equipment such as self-propelled mobile broadcasting vehicles, information containers, field broadcasting stations, along with 50 Inmarsat satellite phones and 31 VSAT-IP stations to the provinces in the affected area.
At the same time, the satellite transmission system has also been activated, ensuring smooth information transmission to serve the direction and operation of disaster prevention work of authorities at all levels.
Meanwhile, Viettel has dispatched four forward command groups to Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa to directly operate on the spot, while the remaining areas are under the responsibility of Viettel Provincial Directors.
More than 1,000 technical, electromechanical, transmission and information security staff have been reinforced, divided into 190 BTS teams, 50 electromechanical teams, 170 information security teams and 20 elite transmission teams, ready to mobilize and respond to emergencies according to their areas of responsibility.
Viettel has added 397 mobile generators to provinces from Quang Ngai to Khanh Hoa, ensuring 110% backup capacity for key stations. More than 1,600 batteries have been transferred to more than 1,100 telecommunications stations to maintain stable operations during widespread power outages.

17 satellite phones, 48 handheld radios and 9 mobile broadcasting vehicles have been distributed to key areas, of which Gia Lai and Binh Dinh have also been reinforced with two transport drones to support the transport of supplies and relief goods when roads are cut off.
At the same time, Viettel has reduced the load on 236 antenna poles at risk of being unsafe, and completed reinforcement, fuel, supplies and safe shelters for rescue forces.
The National Operation Center (NOC) system in 9 provinces is activated 24/7, updating real-time data, monitoring and coordinating rapid response forces as soon as the storm makes landfall.

MobiFone has mobilized more than 200 technical teams with over 800 personnel on duty 24/7 at key locations. Nearly 2,500 generators have been provided to key stations and locations at risk of prolonged power outages, ensuring continuous communication in extreme weather conditions.
Along with ensuring infrastructure and maintaining communications, network operators also coordinate with authorities to send warning messages and instruct people on storm response skills in high-risk areas, contributing to raising public awareness and minimizing damage caused by natural disasters.
