Proactive response plan, ready with rescue resources
Right from the first days of the storm entering the East Sea, VNPT directed its affiliated units in the Central Highlands region to urgently review the telecommunications network infrastructure, reinforce and brace telecommunications stations, and check the safety of inter-provincial fiber optic cables.

Units also replenish fuel, generators, and spare materials at telecommunication stations and stations to be ready to respond to information in all situations. Technical staff are reinforced on-site at key points to ensure timely handling when incidents occur.
Up to now, VNPT provinces and cities in the areas affected by storm No. 13 have completed the work of reviewing, consolidating infrastructure and arranging backup materials at telecommunication stations and stations; adding small generators to network node stations, ensuring a stable power source for priority equipment.
Notably, VNPT has mobilized many modern equipment such as self-propelled mobile broadcasting vehicles, information containers, field broadcasting stations, along with 50 Inmarsat satellite phones and 31 VSAT-IP stations to the provinces in the affected area. At the same time, the satellite transmission system has also been activated, ensuring smooth information serving the direction and operation of disaster prevention work of authorities at all levels.
Determined to ensure smooth communication in all situations

With the ultimate goal of maintaining a stable network and restoring services as quickly as possible when an incident occurs, VNPT has deployed technical forces at key locations, readying human resources, vehicles and materials for rescue. VNPT has thoroughly implemented the spirit of "4 on-site" to all units in the storm area. Technical forces are deployed 24/7 at key stations, and at the same time, a mobile information response team has been established to ensure readiness to handle any arising situations.
Network monitoring and management have been enhanced to the highest level. Roaming scenarios with other carriers and network information security plans have been prepared by VNPT to be activated when necessary.

VNPT units closely coordinate with local authorities to ensure smooth information flow to serve the direction and management of natural disaster prevention, while ensuring the rights and communication needs of customers in all circumstances.
VNPT is currently one of the telecommunications infrastructure units with a wide network and the ability to respond quickly to information nationwide. In previous natural disasters, VNPT's response force has always been an important support for on-site command and control, contributing to ensuring national information security and supporting people to overcome difficulties.
