With a total budget of nearly 1.4 billion VND, BSR visited and presented thousands of meaningful gifts to families of war invalids, martyrs, people with revolutionary contributions, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in many localities inside and outside Quang Ngai province. The gifts, though small, contained sincere and deep gratitude from the collective of BSR workers.
On the morning of July 25, BSR's Board of Directors and employees respectfully offered incense and flowers at Binh Son Martyrs' Cemetery and Van Tuong Martyrs' Cemetery. In the solemn atmosphere, each stick of incense was like a wish, expressing deep gratitude to the nation's outstanding sons who heroically fell for peace today.
Previously, on July 23, BSR General Director Nguyen Viet Thang personally visited and presented gifts of gratitude to wounded and sick soldiers in Nghia Lo ward, Quang Ngai city. In Truong Quang Trong ward and Nguyen Nghiem commune, meaningful gifts continued to be presented by BSR leaders, bringing warmth and sharing from heart to heart.
Continuing the gratitude activities, on July 26, BSR Chairman Bui Ngoc Duong and the delegation visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Bo Y commune and Mang Den commune - two localities of the former Kon Tum province now belonging to Quang Ngai according to the Central Government's merger policy. This gratitude activity not only transcends geography, but also goes beyond the framework of a social activity - because it is a journey of gratitude, of humanity and of continuing the revolutionary tradition.
In particular, BSR visited Vietnamese Heroic Mother Pham Thi Nhung (92 years old), whose two sons heroically sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US. In the quiet moments with her, everyone felt their hearts sink. The private pain of a mother transformed into a noble symbol of silent but great sacrifice - the sacrifice that created peace and freedom for the Fatherland today.
Not only reaching out to the community, BSR also pays special attention to the loved ones in the common home. On the morning of July 25, BSR organized a warm meeting with employees who are war invalids and children of martyrs working at BSR, BSR-BF and BSPPT. The meeting is not only an opportunity to share, but also a beautiful symbol of the culture of affection - where everyday stories are listened to with the heart, and silent contributions are recognized with respect.
At the meeting, Mr. Khuong Le Thanh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the BSR Veterans Association emotionally shared: “Gratitude is not only a word of thanks, but also a duty, a way for us to live responsibly towards history. Colleagues who are children of martyrs are the bridge connecting the past and the present, a living testament to the indomitable, resilient and loyal tradition of our nation.”
Simple meetings and visits, quiet but warm visits, emotional tears, silent but understanding looks - like a red thread connecting today's generation and their predecessors. Through a series of gratitude activities imbued with humanistic values, BSR continues to affirm that it is not only a pioneer in the field of energy and petrochemical refining, but also a business that knows how to live with the past, live with the community and live responsibly towards society.
