VNPT Group Party Committee, mission 2020-2025: Strong Party Committee - Effective Enterprise

The 24th Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group for the 2020-2025 term is of great significance, contributing to affirming the 5-year journey of successful restructuring of the VNPT Group according to Decision 888/QD-TTg dated June 10, 2014 and Decision 2129/QD-TTg dated December 29, 2017 of the Prime Minister. During the entire 2020-2025 term, despite facing challenges, thanks to seizing opportunities and exploiting growth opportunities, each goal of the 24th Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group has been implemented drastically, in accordance with the requirements set out in the new situation and achieved breakthrough results with many imprints.

Promoting digital transformation to improve the effectiveness of ideological education, political training and innovation in Party building work

With the general goal of "Innovating leadership methods, improving the organizational capacity of Party Committees, building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Group; developing effective enterprises, affirming the leading role of the Group in digital transformation in Vietnam", in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has comprehensively led key tasks with a system of Resolutions, Programs, plans, directives, regulations, instructions... timely, close to reality; innovating the organization of the implementation of Resolutions through deployment to each Party cell and Party member; associated with the responsibility of the head, Party Committee Secretary. This is the basis for the Board of Members and the Board of Directors of VNPT Group to direct the completion of the apparatus, effectively organize the corporate governance model, innovate internal mechanisms and business management models; improve the quality of human resources; innovate, create and effectively apply technology to production and business activities; At the same time, create connections, synergies, and close coordination between blocks and units within the entire Group.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has deployed the dissemination, training and updating of knowledge for cadres and party members on the Internet to each Party Committee level in the entire Party Committee in the form of online learning. Thanks to that, the contents of Party building work, politicaleducation , training in Party work, and the contents of studying the resolutions of the Central Committee and the Party Committee have been thoroughly disseminated to each Party cell and each Party member in the Party Committee. The electronic Party Member Handbook software has also been deployed by the Party Committee of VNPT to serve Party activities and Party building work to each Party Committee level, Party organization and all Party members in the Party Committee of the Group, thereby initially transforming digitally in Party work to promptly deploy action programs to Party members and monitor the activities of Party organizations under the Party Committee.

The Steering Committee 35 of the Group's Party Committee on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation has deployed the "social network listening" application developed by the Group to grasp, control and promptly handle information flows related to the Group. Thanks to that, the activities of handling complaints and preventing early risks leading to communication crises have been coordinated and implemented synchronously and effectively throughout the Group. In addition, the Group's Party Committee directed to maximize the strengths of internal communication channels on the Internet platform to promote propaganda content on the implementation of political tasks of the Group's Party Committee throughout the term.

Innovate methods, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work; Link anti-corruption and waste prevention with Party building and rectification.

To continue to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and party discipline, through the set of criteria for monthly quality assessment of party committees and subordinate party cells during the term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has assigned members of the Standing Committee and members of the Party Executive Committee to supervise party committees and party cells, and strengthen inspection and supervision from the Group to member units in all fields and at all levels of management.

To innovate the organization, cadres and party members' work, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has perfected the mechanism of power control, enhanced the Party spirit and awareness of law compliance; the responsibility and exemplary role of the Leader, continued to promote power control and risk management in cadre work; combated the abuse of power and position at VNPT Group, the Party Committee of the Group has issued specialized Resolutions to innovate methods, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision work, strengthen the Party's leadership in the work of preventing corruption, negativity and waste at the Group, proactively prevented violations and successfully and fully completed the set goals; Regularly inspected and supervised specialized work on this work, emphasizing the content of supervising the declaration of assets and income of cadres and party members in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee "no forbidden areas, no exceptions"; Issue the Regulations on coordination of work to promote the effective use of the Group's resources, proactive and close coordination between departments with advisory functions, assisting the Party's inspection and supervision with expertise, creating a healthy environment for the Group to develop stably.

Create changes in mass mobilization work; Link studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example and lifestyle with the daily work of the staff.

The Group Party Committee has strictly implemented the Regulations on mass mobilization work; the Law on implementing democracy at the grassroots level. During its term, the Steering Committee for implementing the Group Party Committee's democratic regulations has been assessed by the superior Party Committee for 5 consecutive years as having excellently completed its tasks.

The implementation of Conclusion 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle and the study of the entire course has been concretized by the Party Committee of the Group into specific tasks, with binding responsibilities for each Party member to voluntarily carry out; associated with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII) on Party building and rectification, the Code of ethical conduct in the VNPT Cultural Handbook and the Regulations on revolutionary ethical standards of the Group's cadres and Party members in the new period.

The Party Committee of VNPT Group has focused on leading and directing the Group's key issues, performing well the tasks of national security and defense and the responsibility of the enterprise to the community; Building regulations on coordination between the Trade Union and Party organizations, specialized in the work of inspection, supervision, ensuring labor safety and the implementation of collective labor agreements; Clearly defining the proportion of the content of the activities of the Trade Union and Youth Union at all levels associated with the annual production and business tasks of the Group and its units. Linking movements with production and business tasks and corporate culture.

With important innovations in leadership methods, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has always been one of the leading units of the Central Enterprise Bloc, honored to receive the title of Party Committee for excellently completing its tasks in the years 2020-2021-2023-2024.

Lead and direct comprehensive innovation in production and business organization methods to continue affirming VNPT's pillar position.

Thoroughly grasping the Government's spirit of "clear thinking, high determination, great efforts, drastic and effective actions, with the determination to overcome difficulties, not afraid of change, saying is doing", in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has led VNPT Group to comprehensively innovate the method of organizing production and service business, promoting the development and application of innovative technology. Thanks to that, VNPT Group has successfully completed its production and business tasks, the enterprise is ranked A every year; basically completed the targets set by the Resolution of the 24th Congress, continuing to affirm its key and leading role in digital transformation in Vietnam.

Under the comprehensive and drastic leadership and direction of the Party Committee of the Group for the 2020-2025 term, VNPT has successfully implemented many core IT projects of the Government, Ministries, Departments, Branches and localities. VNPT has proactively participated in national digitalization programs, affirming the leading and key role of the Group in building and providing digital/IT services and systems for Government agencies and state-owned enterprises. Not only successfully implementing many core IT projects of the Government, VNPT is always a trusted partner with provinces/cities, ministries/branches/agencies and enterprises in implementing digital transformation.

In the period of 2020-2025, VNPT has focused on investing in key markets, proactively developing bilateral international cooperation with prestigious foreign partners, thereby promoting business cooperation, developing new technologies and products for the Group; Proactively participating in international organizations to access development trends in technology, new products and services, training human resources, seeking cooperation opportunities and new growth spaces for the Group.

Closing the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of VNPT Group has affirmed the role of the Vietnamese technology group on the international map with prestigious domestic and international awards, becoming a strong driving force to promote the development of the entire technology industry and digital transformation in Vietnam.

The important achievements in the 2020-2025 term will be the premise and leverage for the Group's Party Committee to continue to write successes in the next term, 2025-2030.

Entering a new phase, with firm belief, great aspirations and high responsibility, to complete the goal of the 2025-2030 term of "Innovating leadership methods, improving the organizational capacity of the Party Committee, building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Group; developing effective enterprises; affirming the leading role of the Group in digital transformation in Vietnam", the Party Committee of VNPT Group will continue to lead and direct VNPT to better fulfill its mission of leading the national digital transformation journey, bringing VNPT to increasingly breakthrough development, moving forward with the country in the era of national advancement.
