Elvis Phuong said that because the number of hits on his singing journey was quite large, choosing 22 songs to include in the album gave him a headache.

Besides, in addition to familiar songs for new arrangements, he added rarely performed songs such as White Hands Black Hands by musician Anh Son.

The biggest surprise in the album is the song Midnight in the Street by musician Truc Phuong. The famous singer revealed that this was the first Vietnamese song he performed. Once, when he went with a group of friends to a high school fair on Tu Xuong Street (now), he was encouraged by everyone to go on stage to perform.

At first, he specialized in singing English and French songs, but then many older audiences asked him to sing in Vietnamese. While he was confused, he suddenly remembered Midnight in the City , which his parents often heard sung by the female singer Thanh Thuy.

He tried singing on stage, even though he didn't know the exact tone of the band's playing, he just told him "don't go too high". Surprisingly, after the performance, everyone was enthusiastically supportive.

In addition to songs by famous musicians, the album If You Love Me also includes compositions by Elvis Phuong himself such as Chieu thu Paris, Got hong thoi het phieu du, Loi hanh uoc... In which, many of the songs he dedicated to his wife - the person who always accompanied and was a strong supporter in his career and life.

Autumn Afternoon in Paris is one of the special compositions written by famous singer Elvis Phuong for his wife. He said the inspiration for the composition came from memories when he was on tour in Europe. On an autumn afternoon in Paris, watching the yellow leaves fall, he missed his wife terribly.

The feeling of loneliness in the middle of a crowded street, the conflicting emotions between the outside scenery and the inner mood made him write a song expressing the feelings of two people in love.

Explaining the reason for launching the USB version, Elvis Phuong said it was his own wish as well as to meet the requests of his fans.

At the premiere, he performed live many famous songs such as Ao anh sut chi duong ta, Vet thu tren luong ngua hoang, Anh con do em ... At the age of 80, his powerful voice and fiery style delighted many audiences.

Famous singer Elvis Phuong was once slapped by his father and kicked out of the house because he loved singing . Elvis Phuong also shared that he loved singing since he was 16 years old, so when he passed the baccalaureate exam, he ignored it and only liked singing, so his father slapped him twice and kicked him out of the house.
