Recently, the song "Nguyện làm" (Wishing to be) was introduced to the audience in a completely special version: a duet between Khắc Việt and People's Artist Tấn Minh - Director of the Thăng Long Music and Dance Theatre.

This is not just a musical collaboration, but also a beautiful moment for two generations of artists, singing together about love, fidelity, gratitude, and responsibility.
"Nguyện làm" (I wish to make it my debut with a recording by Khắc Việt) is a special composition by him as he turns 38, filled with fresh emotions.
This duet version with People's Artist Tan Minh brings a different depth: contemplative, experienced, like a continuation from a man who has weathered storms to one who is building happiness. The song becomes a bridge, where the two meet through sincerity.
Khắc Việt shared his special feelings about singing a duet with People's Artist Tấn Minh: "Mr. Tấn Minh is one of the first people who made me fall in love with the voices of Vietnamese men. People's Artist Tấn Minh's voice is very beautiful. His voice is not only technically beautiful but also carries a sense of calmness, warmth, and full of self-expression."
In the past, I used to listen to songs like "First Love Letter," "Pink Phoenix ," etc., and I always wished I could sing them with him one day. But I never thought that would come true with a song I composed myself."
Khắc Việt believes that Tấn Minh agreeing to participate in the filming for Nguyện is a particularly fortunate thing for him.
The music video was filmed in a cozy little cafe, without special effects or stage lights. Just two men, from two different generations, sitting together and singing a love song.
Director Le Ha Nguyen chose a unique filming technique to create a sense of intimacy, as if the audience were directly present in the room, listening to the whispered words of the men who chose love as something they "vow to keep."
When asked about the message of the collaboration, Khắc Việt shared: “I want to say that no matter who you are, no matter how many things you go through, at some point, you will stop in front of one person.”
And then, if your heart is truly at peace, you will willingly do anything, without needing anyone to see, just so that one person understands. And having People's Artist Tan Minh sing along is the way for that song to touch the hearts of mature audiences.”
