In 2024, as the Standing Agency of the Provincial Task Force for Project 06, the Provincial Police Department promptly advised the Provincial People's Committee to focus on directing the vigorous implementation of Project 06/CP in the province and within the force. To date, the Provincial Police Department has basically completed and continues to maintain the implementation of 13 out of 13 tasks according to the plan and has achieved a number of positive results. Specifically, for the 53 public services under Project 06, as of November 2024, the entire province had received 231,087 applications, reaching 93.66% (an increase of 30.16% compared to the same period in 2023). For the 12 public services within the People's Police, more than 134,543 applications have been received and processed, reaching 99.63% (an increase of 29.63% compared to the same period in 2023). 643,743 identity cards were issued to eligible permanent residents; 372,375 level 2 electronic identification accounts were successfully activated, achieving 97.44%. 547,785 member data records from 10 socio-political organizations were collected and updated into the national population database system to support the implementation of Project 06.

To continue the effective implementation and completion of the tasks of Project 06/CP in 2024, Colonel Huynh Tan Hanh, Director of the Provincial Police, directed the police forces of all units and localities to focus on implementing the following key tasks: Continue to uphold the spirit of proactiveness and urgency: Linking this with the responsibility of the head of each unit; only discussing and acting, not retreating; being proactive, creative, innovative, flexible, and effective; daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility as directed in Directive No. 12/CT-UBND dated October 28, 2024, of the Provincial People's Committee. Coordinate the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the tasks of Project 06; maintain the work of ensuring security and safety of the system. Timely advise competent authorities on resolving and removing difficulties and obstacles for some tasks that are at risk of falling behind schedule. Strengthen propaganda through various forms to all levels of the population about the purpose, meaning, importance, and urgency of implementing Project 06.
