Director Khuong Ngoc makes a film about grandmother-grandchild love

The film just held its opening ceremony on the morning of May 25 in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to director Khuong Ngoc, this film is part of a series of projects about women, especially those who are mothers and grandmothers.

“I want to convey the sacrifices of my mother and grandmother to the audience. We can see some of the memories in our lives so that we can preserve, cherish and love family ties even more,” director Khuong Ngoc shared.

The word “gold” in the film title is a metonymic word, representing noble spiritual values.

The film will focus on the close relationships between generations in the family, thereby conveying core values ​​and profound meanings about family love.

Apart from the title and main message, director Khuong Ngoc is still keeping secret the film's content as well as the cast that will participate in this project.

According to producer 856 Pictures, in addition to the main setting in Ho Chi Minh City, the film will have scenes spread from Bao Loc to Binh Thuan .

The film is expected to be released in October 2025.
