The Devotion concert, featuring music from the anime Attack on Titan, was organized by the IPO (Imagine Philharmonic Orchestra), conducted by Tieu Nguyen Duc Anh (born in 1997, known by his stage name Dustin Tieu).
This orchestra has repeatedly impressed young music lovers in Ho Chi Minh City with performances of soundtracks from Final Fantasy, Ghibli, and Harry Potter … It is also one of the rare orchestral groups targeting audiences of young people born in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s in Vietnam.

The majority of attendees at this event were young Gen Z people who were experiencing the epic anthems of Attack on Titan on stage for the first time. They also cosplayed, wearing cloaks featuring the wings of freedom symbol from the anime.
My Chi (23 years old, working in Ho Chi Minh City) shared before the concert: "I'm really looking forward to it because this is the first time I've had the chance to see a concert with an Attack on Titan theme."
I've been into anime/manga since middle school, and there are many songs tonight that I even know by heart and can sing along to."

The show began with "Ashes on The Fire ," the theme song from the final installment of Attack on Titan, which resonated powerfully yet tragically, warming up the more than 2000 audience members in the theater.
Then, songs associated with the journey of Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, such as TK-T and Guren No Yumiya, continuously played, taking listeners from the melancholic and profound Marco's Theme to the powerful and overwhelming The War Hammer Titan .
Most of the set lists are epic rock symphony genres with fast tempos and powerful melodies that keep the orchestra constantly "on fire".

Also a huge fan of Attack on Titan , conductor Dustin Xiao enthusiastically led the orchestra.
Furthermore, out of "discontent" with the original ending of the series, he and the choir transformed Akuma no Ko , the melancholic piece of music from the film, into a Wedding version, a completely different version that allowed fans to dream of a happy ending that could have happened for the couple Eren and Mikasa.
Towards the end of the performance, the encore rendition of "Shinzo wo Sasageyo!", considered the anthem of Attack on Titan , completely captivated the audience. Many audience members stood up, clasped their right hands to their chests, and sang along to the free melody:
"Sasageyo! Sasageyo! Shinzou wo sasageyo!" (roughly translated: Devotion! Devotion! Devotion with all my heart!)
At the end of the performance, many Attack on Titan fans approached conductor Dustin Xiao and the orchestra to thank them for giving them the opportunity to directly enjoy the legendary music that had been a part of their youth for many years.

"That's also why I want to share my passion with young people, who are also the potential audience for IPOs in the future," he confided.
At the same time, the Gen Z conductor also revealed that in the future, in addition to continuing with Attack on Titan , he will aim for theme songs from other famous titles such as Demon Slayer or Naruto to continue bringing anime concerts with a strong chamber music influence closer to young people.
