A mark of transformation

QTO - In the final days of 2025, the atmosphere of labor and production competition became more vibrant than ever. In industrial zones and clusters, the sound of machinery operating continuously filled the air, and workers worked overtime to meet delivery deadlines. This bustling production pace is vivid evidence of the strong recovery and transformation of the province's Industry and Trade sector throughout a year of strenuous efforts.

In 2025, the province's industrial production activities are expected to continue maintaining stable growth, especially in the last months of the year, when businesses focus on completing orders and expanding production to meet market demand.

Speaking with reporters, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Ho Xuan Hoe said: “The Industry and Trade sector has clearly defined its core task as accompanying businesses, using production and business efficiency as a measure of success. The results achieved in 2025 reflect the great efforts of businesses, the decisive and timely direction of provincial leaders to strengthen support for businesses in resolving obstacles, improving the investment environment, and creating favorable conditions for industrial projects to quickly become operational and effective. The synchronized involvement of the entire political system has created an important impetus for industrial production to continue to recover and grow.”

With the support and cooperation of all levels of government, many industrial enterprises in the province have proactively innovated technology, improved production processes, enhanced product quality, and expanded markets. Thien Tan Joint Stock Company (Cam Hieu Industrial Cluster, Hieu Giang commune) is a prime example.

Not content with just a non-fired brick production line with a capacity of 30 million bricks/year and a ready-mix concrete plant with a capacity of 60 m³/hour, with a sustainable development orientation, the company continues to expand into new business sectors, diversify its products, and gradually improve production and business efficiency to meet market demands.

Sharing insights into the company's investment and development process, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vinh, Deputy General Director of Thien Tan Joint Stock Company, said: "Besides non-fired bricks and ready-mix concrete, Thien Tan now also supplies many other building materials, such as colored roof tiles, garden paving stones, pillar stones, etc."

"In particular, in recent years, we have gradually connected with and expanded our market to Laos, participating in supplying construction materials for many key projects in the province and the region. This is an important direction that helps the business stabilize output, increase revenue, and gradually improve its competitiveness."

Mr. Truong Cuong, Director of Viet Hung Warehouse Services Co., Ltd., emphasized: “In 2025, thanks to the timely support in trade promotion and the removal of administrative procedures from the province and the Department of Industry and Trade, the company received many new orders, helping us maintain stable production and ensure regular employment for our workers.”

“From production practices at enterprises to specific growth figures, the transformation of the Industry and Trade sector in 2025 is clearly visible. The achievements not only contribute to maintaining economic growth and creating stable jobs for workers, but also serve as an important foundation for the Industry and Trade sector to continue its breakthrough in the 2026-2030 period, affirming the pivotal role of industry in the province's economic structure,” affirmed Ho Xuan Hoe, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade.

In 2025, many key industries in the province maintained relatively high growth rates compared to the same period of the previous year. Within the structure of the second-level industrial sector, fields such as wood processing and production of products from wood, bamboo, and rattan; garment manufacturing; food processing; production of products from non-metallic minerals; repair, maintenance, and installation of machinery and equipment… continued to record positive growth, reflecting the trend of shifting towards deep processing and increasing product value.

In addition, new energy, processing, and manufacturing industrial projects that have been invested in and put into operation in recent times have shown clear effectiveness, making a positive contribution to the province's industrial production value.

According to data from the Department of Industry and Trade, in 2025, the added value of the province's industrial sector will increase by 9% compared to 2024, exceeding the planned target. The industrial production index (IIP) will increase by 8.3% compared to the previous year; in the fourth quarter of 2025 alone, the IIP will increase by 10.5% compared to the same period, showing a stable growth trend, especially in the processing and manufacturing industries.
