Leveraging the strength of the political system and uniting for development goals.
To achieve these results, the Party Committee and government of Trieu Phong district have proactively and promptly disseminated and seriously implemented resolutions and directives from the central and provincial Party Committees. The Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee regularly hold meetings to discuss and decide on important issues, ensuring compliance with working regulations and authority.
Simultaneously, specific directives were issued to concretize commitments and key tasks into concrete action programs and plans, clearly defining resources and implementation timelines. In particular, the role, responsibility, and exemplary conduct of leaders at all levels of Party committees, government, and agencies were emphasized, creating a strong impetus for the entire political system to operate effectively.
On the other hand, the Party Committee and Party Secretary of communes and towns, as well as the collective leadership and heads of departments and agencies at the district level, signed a commitment of responsibility with the District Party Standing Committee. Simultaneously, the Party Committee of communes and towns was directed to sign a commitment of responsibility with the secretaries of subordinate Party branches, heads of departments, and mass organizations at the same level. Local Party committees organized the dissemination and understanding of the commitment to cadres, Party members, and the people, creating consensus in understanding and implementation.
Adhering closely to its functions and duties, the District People's Council has successfully organized its sessions as stipulated by law, improving the quality of the sessions and strengthening its oversight of the resolution of voters' petitions, as well as conducting regular monitoring of socio-economic development and national defense and security. The District People's Committee has enhanced the effectiveness and efficiency of its management, proactively developing and promptly implementing socio-economic development plans and ensuring national defense and security each year.
One of the top priorities set by the District People's Committee is to promote administrative reform, improve the quality of service for citizens and businesses, and create a favorable environment to attract investment in the area. Activities such as receiving citizens and resolving complaints and denunciations are seriously implemented. At the same time, state management of religion, legal assistance for citizens, and ensuring social security are also well implemented, demonstrating the government's deep concern for all aspects of people's lives.
The Fatherland Front Committee and political and social organizations in the district actively promote propaganda and mobilize members and the people to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, effectively fulfilling the political tasks of the locality and unit. The close coordination between all levels, sectors, and organizations has created a combined strength, promoting the overall development of Trieu Phong district.
Based on the evaluation and ranking results, Party organizations have consistently performed well each year, with many achieving outstanding results. In 2024, 52 out of 52 grassroots Party organizations performed well, with 11 achieving outstanding results. Regarding the leadership and management team, 31.81% achieved outstanding results, 65.97% performed well, and 2.22% completed their tasks. These figures partly reflect the effective operation of local Party and government agencies, providing a solid foundation for the continued development of Trieu Phong district.
Leveraging potential and advantages to achieve breakthroughs.
Trieu Phong has identified agriculture as its key economic sector, aiming for clean, modern agriculture that adapts to climate change. In 2024, the value of agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production reached over 1,418 billion VND, with an average rice yield exceeding 63 quintals/hectare. Smart production models have been widely implemented, such as large-scale farming (1,900 hectares), natural rice cultivation, and production according to VietGAP and organic standards.
The application of biotechnology, mechanization, and drones in production has contributed to the formation of concentrated raw material areas, linked in sustainable value chains. Many agricultural models in Trieu Phong have received quality certifications such as organic, VietGAP, and FSC, affirming the correct direction of the locality in upgrading agricultural products and protecting the environment. Trieu Phong district has also promoted industrialized livestock farming in conjunction with businesses, increasing the total number of livestock to tens of thousands and poultry to over 1 million.
In addition, the district encourages economic entities, organizations, and individuals to invest in scientific research and technological innovation to improve productivity and product quality, meeting market demands. The application of biotechnology in agricultural production is a particular focus of Trieu Phong district, such as the use of biological preparations, microbial organic fertilizers, the production of forestry seedlings using tissue culture technology, and the application of biological bedding in livestock and poultry farming, all of which have yielded high results.
Thanks to the application of scientific and technological advancements in agricultural production, Trieu Phong district has certified organic rice production areas under the Trieu Phong Clean Agricultural Products Cooperative, orange cultivation areas in Trieu Thuong commune, and rice cultivation areas under the Dai Hao Cooperative in Trieu Dai commune; certified organic timber plantation areas in Trieu Ai and Trieu Thuong communes under FSC and VFSC certifications; and many other farming and livestock areas in the district have also been certified VietGap.
In addition to focusing on agriculture, Trieu Phong also boasts a thriving industrial and handicraft sector with over 1,200 production facilities. In the first quarter of 2025, the value of industrial and handicraft production was estimated at 127.8 billion VND, a 10.6% increase compared to the same period last year. The Ai Tu and Dong Ai Tu industrial clusters are becoming attractive destinations for investors. With nearly 100% occupancy rates and dozens of stable operating businesses, they have created jobs for thousands of local workers, with an average income of approximately 7 million VND per person per month.
Along with economic development, Trieu Phong district pays special attention to the fields of culture, education, health, and social welfare. To date, 40 out of 42 schools in the district have met national standards, 100% of primary school students attend two sessions per day, and the high school graduation rate is over 98%. The healthcare system from the district to the grassroots level has been upgraded, ensuring that people receive adequate and timely healthcare. Poverty reduction, job creation, and dilapidated housing programs have been implemented effectively.
From a traditionally agricultural region, Trieu Phong is asserting its position as a dynamically developing locality, effectively utilizing all its potential and strengths to become increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized.
