Promote cashless payment of pensions and benefits.

The People's Committee of the city has just issued Official Document No. 956/UBND-NC requesting agencies, units, and localities to promote the development of cashless payments in the disbursement of pensions and social insurance benefits.

Specifically, heads of units and localities should disseminate to officials, civil servants, public employees, armed forces personnel, and workers the policies of the Government and the People's Committee of the city on promoting cashless payments; and encourage and educate relatives and residents living in their areas who are receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits in cash to switch to cashless payment methods.

The People's Committees of communes and wards direct political and social organizations, associations, and the Community Digital Technology Teams, as well as Project 06, to coordinate with the Social Insurance agency and the commune/ward police to promote and encourage pensioners and recipients of monthly social insurance benefits to switch to cashless payment methods.

The city's post office regularly collaborates closely with social insurance agencies and relevant units in implementing and organizing campaigns to encourage pensioners and recipients of monthly social insurance benefits to use cashless payment methods, according to the set targets, striving to achieve a cashless payment rate of over 80% by the end of 2025.

The People's Committee of the city has set a target of achieving a non-cash payment rate for pensions and allowances of over 85%, to be completed before November 30, 2025.
