The project to restore the Trinh Palace historical site is being actively implemented by the construction unit.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong inspected the progress of construction items belonging to the Project to renovate the Trinh Palace historical site.
The project to restore the Trinh Palace historical site was approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 4336/QD-UBND dated October 28, 2015; the investment policy was adjusted for the first time in Resolution No. 211/NQ-HĐND dated October 16, 2019 of the Provincial People's Council; the investment policy was adjusted for the second time in Resolution No. 379/NQ-HĐND dated March 24, 2023; and the project adjustment was approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 4490/QD-UBND dated November 28, 2023, with a total investment of VND 550 billion 730 million.
Of this amount, the provincial budget contributed 270 billion 195 million VND to complete the construction of the historical site, cover compensation for land clearance, and support 50% of the infrastructure investment costs for resettlement; the budget of the former Vinh Loc district was 71 billion 449 million VND, covering a portion of compensation for land clearance and 50% of the infrastructure investment costs for resettlement; and socialized capital and other legally mobilized sources amounted to 209 billion 086 million VND.
The project commenced in April 2025. Currently, the contractor is focusing machinery, equipment, supplies, materials, and personnel on the implementation of package number 6, which includes: construction of the reception area, festival promotion area, water reservoir; memorial house; incense burning house, etc.
Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong urged the acceleration of construction progress for items under the Project for the preservation, restoration and promotion of the value of the Trieu Tuong Mausoleum and Temple Complex in Ha Long commune (phase 2).
The project to preserve, restore, and promote the value of the Trieu Tuong Mausoleum and Temple Complex in Ha Long commune (phase 2) is currently being implemented by the construction unit.
The project for the preservation, restoration, and promotion of the value of the Trieu Tuong Mausoleum and Temple Complex in Ha Long commune (phase 2) was approved by the Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 165/NQ-HĐND dated April 4, 2019, and the investment project was approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1578/QĐ-UBND dated May 15, 2021, with a total investment of over 453 billion 207 million VND.
Of this amount, 236.35 billion VND came from the provincial budget; 26.65 billion VND from the budget of the former Ha Trung district; and 194.58 billion VND from socialized capital and other legally mobilized sources to invest in the restoration of historical sites, interiors, religious artifacts, works that enhance the value of the historical sites, and remaining technical infrastructure.
To meet the completion deadline in 2025, the contractor is currently focusing machinery, equipment, materials, and personnel on the construction of the moat, roads, parking lot, and technical infrastructure of the Trieu Tuong temple area according to the plan.
Following an on-site inspection, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa Province , Pham Nguyen Hong, highly praised the units, localities, and contractors for their implementation of the project; he also pointed out difficulties and obstacles that need to be addressed.
The Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested that localities continue to expedite the implementation of land clearance procedures according to regulations; disseminate information and encourage households to agree to continue the land clearance and resettlement work for the project. At the same time, focus on mobilizing social funding and other legitimate sources to ensure the project is implemented according to plan.
The comrade urged contractors to actively coordinate with local authorities to overcome difficulties and obstacles; and to concentrate machinery, equipment, materials, and personnel to accelerate the construction progress of the project's components.
