Candidates finish the social science exam for the 2024 high school graduation exam
Accordingly, 1,071,393 candidates registered for the 2024 high school graduation exam (an increase of more than 45,000 candidates compared to the 2023 exam). Candidates will take the exam at 2,323 exam sites (an increase of 51 exam sites compared to 2023) with a total of 45,149 exam rooms.
2024 is the last year to organize the high school graduation exam according to the 2006 general education program, so the number of independent candidates is also higher with 46,978 candidates (accounting for 4.38% of the total number of candidates). Among them, many candidates have not passed the graduation exam since 2020, 2021... so this year they registered to retake the exam because from 2025, the high school graduation exam will be organized according to the 2018 general education program.
