Appointment and salary arrangement for preschool teachers
The draft proposes regulations on appointment and salary classification for preschool teachers as follows:
1- Officials currently teaching at public preschools who meet the standards of professional ethics and training and development as prescribed in the Professional Standards for Teachers Teaching in Preschools shall be appointed to corresponding professional titles according to the following regulations:
a) Appointment to the professional title of preschool teacher - Code V.07.02.26 for preschool teachers grade III - Code V.07.02.26;
b) Appointment to the professional title of main preschool teacher - Code V.07.02.25 for grade II preschool teachers - Code V.07.02.25;
c) Appointment to the professional title of senior preschool teacher - Code V.07.02.24 for grade I preschool teachers - Code V.07.02.24
2. Officials appointed to the professional positions of preschool teachers prescribed in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 of the Government on salary regime for cadres, civil servants, public employees and armed forces, specifically as follows:
a) Preschool teachers - Code V.07.02.26, are applied with salary coefficient of type A0 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.1 to salary coefficient 4.89;
b) Main preschool teacher - Code V.07.02.25, applies salary coefficient of type A1 civil servant, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
c) Senior preschool teacher - Code V.07.02.24, applies salary coefficient of type A2 civil servant, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.0 to salary coefficient 6.38;
d) Preschool teachers who have not met the training standards prescribed in the Law on Teachers will be subject to the salary coefficient of type B civil servants, from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06.
Appointment and salary arrangement for primary school teachers
The draft clearly states the appointment and salary classification for primary school teachers as follows:
1. Officials currently teaching at public primary schools who meet the standards of professional ethics and training and development as prescribed in the Primary School Teacher Professional Standards shall be appointed to the corresponding professional title as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 2 of this Circular as follows:
a) Appointment to the professional title of primary school teacher - Code V.07.03.29 for primary school teachers grade III - Code V.07.03.29;
b) Appointment to the professional title of primary school teacher - Code V.07.03.28 for primary school teachers grade II - Code V.07.03.28;
c) Appointment to the professional title of senior primary school teacher - Code V.07.03.27 for grade I primary school teachers - Code V.07.03.27.
2. Officials appointed to the professional positions of primary school teachers prescribed in this Circular shall apply the corresponding salary table issued with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
a) Primary school teachers - Code V.07.03.29, are subject to the salary coefficient of type A1 civil servants, from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
b) Primary school teacher - Code V.07.03.28, applies salary coefficient of type A2 civil servant, group A2.2, from salary coefficient 4.00 to salary coefficient 6.38;
c) Senior primary school teacher - Code V.07.03.27, applies salary coefficient of type A3 civil servant, group A3.2, from salary coefficient 5.75 to salary coefficient 7.55;
d) Primary school teachers who have not yet met the standard training level will be subject to the salary coefficient of type B civil servants, from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.06.
