A joyful and warm full moon festival of Binh Minh children

HNP - On the evening of October 3, Binh Minh commune organized a Mid-Autumn Festival with the theme "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival - Light up your dreams". This is a practical activity to bring Binh Minh children a warm and meaningful full moon season.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Tien Sy, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hanoi City; Nguyen Tien Trung, Deputy Director of the Center for Social Work and the Hanoi Children's Support Fund; Nguyen Khanh Binh, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council; Le Van An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; Nguyen Dang Viet, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee...

The Mid-Autumn Festival was attended by over 500 children representing teenagers and children throughout the commune. In particular, 280 children with outstanding achievements; 60 children with especially difficult circumstances received gifts and scholarships to encourage their spirit of overcoming difficulties and excelling in their studies.

Although the gifts are not large, they contain the affection and care of the Party Committee, government, agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists for the young generation of Binh Minh commune.

Speaking at the gala, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Minh Commune Nguyen Khanh Binh said: Currently, in Binh Minh Commune, there are more than 22,569 students studying at schools, of which 5,366 have permanent and temporary residence in the commune. Deputy Director of the City Department of Science and Technology Nguyen Tien Sy and Secretary of the Binh Minh Commune Party Committee Nguyen Khanh Binh presented gifts to children in difficult circumstances.

Along with that, there are investment activities to build new and upgrade facilities of schools, playgrounds, and amusement parks in the commune; creating for children the best learning environment and the safest and most suitable playground for them to develop comprehensively in Morality - Intelligence - Physicality - Aesthetics.

Leaders of the Hanoi Center for Social Work and Children's Support Fund and leaders of Binh Minh commune presented gifts to children in difficult circumstances.

“With all my care and love for you, I believe and hope that you will always be good, study well, exercise, nurture your dreams, and become excellent citizens, contributing to building Binh Minh commune to be more and more rich, civilized, and modern.” - Mr. Nguyen Khanh Binh sent his message to the children of Binh Minh.

The full moon festival night was warm and meaningful when Binh Minh children listened to the President's Mid-Autumn Festival greetings; and were delighted with the lively lion dance performance symbolizing luck and the joy of reunion. Especially the colorful Mid-Autumn Festival party, where children gathered together, enjoyed candies and fruits, watched the moon, and fully felt the reunion atmosphere.
