Tickets for the concert featuring the 'Waterbomb goddess' in Hanoi are selling poorly?

In about a week, the K-Pulse Hanoi 2026 event will officially take place at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi . The event will feature performances by PSY, "Waterbomb goddess" Kwon Eun Bi, Jay Park, Sandara, Bambam, and Wendy (a member of Red Velvet).

However, on the ticket sales website, all ticket categories for both days are still available. On June 1st, the organizers also announced a price adjustment for tickets.

"To make the event more accessible to a wider audience, the organizing committee has decided to implement a ticket price adjustment program with a 35% discount on all ticket categories, from 2 PM on June 1st to June 7th. In particular, for customers who purchased tickets at the original price before the adjustment, the organizing committee will implement a support program to ensure fairness and rights for all attendees," the organizing committee announced.

The event took place on June 6th and 7th at My Dinh National Stadium. Initially, ticket prices ranged from 1.5 million VND to 6.5 million VND. This was considered quite high given the list of performing artists. After adjustments, ticket prices were reduced to between 975,000 VND and 4.2 million VND.

The show is reportedly struggling with ticket sales. The reason given is that the lineup of artists isn't particularly impressive. PSY, Kwon Eun Bi, Jay Park, Sandara, Bambam, and Wendy are all popular artists in South Korea, but they don't have a large enough dedicated fanbase in Vietnam.

Moreover, the initial ticket prices were considered quite high. In addition, many Korean music concerts planned to be held in Vietnam have been abruptly canceled in the past, leading to audience hesitation in buying tickets.

Among the artists, PSY is the owner of the global hit Gangnam Style , while Sandara is a member of the group 2NE1. Kwon Eun Bi is dubbed the "Waterbomb Goddess" after her hot and daring performances at the popular music festival.

Jay Park is a former member of the group 2PM, who later pursued a successful solo music career. Meanwhile, Bambam is a member of the group GOT7, and Wendy is active as a member of the girl group Red Velvet.
