Currently, the shop serves an average of 30 to 40 customers per day. Before shampooing, staff will assess the scalp health with specialized tools.
"We choose the appropriate washing regimen and corresponding shampoo based on the customer's hair type," said a staff member.
Modes available with the AI-powered shampoo include time and routine care options, with cleaning intensity adjustment and hair length-based features.
During the shampooing process, the machine uses multiple water jets and infrared lights to automatically adjust the spray angle, helping to thoroughly clean the scalp.
The standard 13-minute shampooing routine includes two shampoos, one conditioning treatment, and seven rinses. According to local media, the device also comes with a built-in massage chair.
AI hair washing mainly solves the problem of lack of manpower with three employees being able to manage all the machines at the same time.
A customer named Ly shared that although she was initially confused by this new hair-washing method, she found the AI application process both thorough and interesting.
Some social media users appreciated the innovative idea, but also noted that its effectiveness is still limited to specific scalp problems.
