On August 20, universities announced admission scores.

How to look up benchmark scores on the Ministry of Education and Training System:

- Visit the official website of the Ministry of Education and Training: https://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

- Log in with ID card number/CCCD and login code.

- Go to "Search" and select "Search admission results".

- The system will display the result "Pass" or "Fail" for each wish.

How to look up admission scores and results on the websites of universities and colleges:

- Visit the website of the school you are applying to.

- Search for "Look up benchmark scores" or "Look up admission results".

- Enter the required information (eg: registration number, full name, date of birth) to look up.

Most universities have announced their admission scores, with 6 majors requiring 30 points, at the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, Academy of Military Science and Academy of Military Medicine.

Graduation exam scores for most subjects decreased, but many universities recorded record benchmark scores.

The majors with a benchmark score of 30 are English and Chinese Pedagogy of Hue University and University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), International Relations of the Academy of Military Science, and Medicine of the Military Medical Academy.

Following is Hanoi University of Science and Technology with the highest score of 29.39, in the advanced program of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Diplomatic Academy has the highest benchmark score of 26.09

The Diplomatic Academy's benchmark scores range from 24.17 to 26.09, with the highest being in Chinese Studies.

On the evening of August 22, the Diplomatic Academy announced the benchmark scores for admission methods. With the 2025 high school graduation exam scores (method 100), the benchmark scores range from 24.17 to 26.09. Of which, the Chinese Studies major continues to lead - 26.09, down 3.11 points compared to last year.

Three majors with a benchmark score of 25 or higher include International Relations, English Language, and International Communications. The remaining majors all have a benchmark score of 24 or higher, the lowest being American Studies - 24.17.

This level applies to the combinations A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D03 (Math, Physics, History), D04 (Math, Physics, Geography), D06 (Math, Chemistry, Geography), DD2 (Math, Literature, Korean), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English), D09 (Math, English, History), D10 (Math, Geography, English), D14 (Literature, History, English), D15 (Literature, Geography, English).

For group C00 (Literature, History, Geography), the admission score is three points higher.

The remaining two methods are considering transcripts with international certificates (code 410) and considering A-level and IB certificates with equal scores, ranging from 26.78 to 27.89, depending on the major.

The highest benchmark score of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology is 26.21.

Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has a benchmark score from 21 to 26.21, applied to majors and training programs in Hanoi.

On August 22, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology announced that the major with the highest benchmark score was Computer Science (Data Science orientation) - 26.21 points. Next was Control and Automation Engineering - 26.19, Information Technology - 25.8.

The Accounting program with high quality has the lowest standard score - 21. The remaining programs are all from 22 and above.

This year, the academy will enroll 6,680 students for both its campuses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Five admission methods include: talent selection; international certificates; ability and thinking assessment test scores; high school graduation exam scores; and combining English certificates with academic records.

The lowest benchmark for University of Finance - Marketing is 22

University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) has a benchmark score of 22.1-25.63, based on high school graduation exam results.

On the evening of August 22, the admissions board of the University of Finance and Marketing announced the admission scores for all four admission methods.

Compared to last year, this year's benchmark score increased by about 0.5-2 points in most majors. Economics had the highest admission score - 25.63 points, the lowest was Real Estate with 22.1 points.

These two majors also hold the leading and last positions in terms of academic transcript benchmark scores with about 24.66-27.63.

With the method of evaluating the capacity of Ho Chi Minh City National University, many majors of the school have scores above 900/1200 such as Economics, English Language, Economic Management, Management Information Systems.

Chinese Language major has the highest benchmark score at University of Mining and Geology

The Chinese Language Department leads the benchmark score of the University of Mining and Geology, with 25.5 points.

On the evening of August 22, the University of Mining and Geology announced the admission scores from 15 to 25.5 points in the 2025 high school graduation exam method. The highest standard score for Chinese Language is 25.5. Control and Automation Engineering is next with 25.2 points. Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology is third with 24 points.

11 majors with the lowest scores, from 15 and up, include: Geophysical Engineering; Geology, Geological Engineering; Gemstones; Urban and Construction Management; Construction Geotechnics; Water Resources Engineering; Mineral Resources Management; Environmental Engineering; Space Engineering; Geodetic Engineering - Cartography.

The lowest benchmark score for Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 is 20.25.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 (HPU2) has a benchmark score from 20.25 to 28.52, with Literature Pedagogy having the highest score and Sports Management having the lowest score.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 said on August 22 that some majors with high admission scores for many years still hold the leading positions, such as Literature Education (28.52), History Education (28.31), History - Geography Education (28.03). Many other majors are at 24-26.

Hanoi Pedagogical University has recruited 3,540 students in 10 years.

Last year, the benchmark score for Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 based on high school graduation exam scores was from 15.35 to 28.83. The lowest score for pedagogical majors was 20, mostly above 25.5. The highest score was for Literature and History Pedagogy majors.

Auditing major has the highest benchmark score at the Academy of Finance

The Auditing major has a benchmark score of 26.6, the highest in the Academy of Finance, based on the high school graduation exam score.

The Academy of Finance announced the benchmark scores from 21 to 26.6 (on a scale of 30) on the evening of August 22. Three majors with 26 points include Marketing, Finance - Banking 2 (majoring in Corporate Finance; Financial Analysis), and Auditing. Of which, Auditing has the highest score - 26.6 points.

12 majors have the lowest score - from 21 points. The benchmark scores for the remaining majors range from 22.55 - 25.56.

The highest benchmark score for Hanoi Medical University is 28.7.

Hanoi Medical University (HMU) has a standard score from 17 to 28.7, the highest is Psychology in the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography), and Medicine takes 28.13 points.

According to the announcement of Hanoi Medical University on August 22, after Medicine is Dentistry with 27.34 points. Both are considered the graduation exam score of combination B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology).

Majors that require 17 points include Preventive Medicine, Social Work, and Nursing, Thanh Hoa branch.

This year, Hanoi Medical University will enroll 1,910 students through two methods: direct admission and based on high school graduation exam scores. In mid-July, the school announced the list of 272 candidates admitted directly, an increase of one and a half times compared to last year. Most of them are in the medical field.

Hanoi Law University announced benchmark scores from 19.75

The benchmark score of Hanoi Law University (HLU) is from 19.75 to 25.55 according to the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English), in which the majors at the Hanoi campus are not lower than 23.2.

On August 22, Hanoi Law University announced the admission scores according to the original combination D01 of the high school graduation exam. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh, Vice Principal, said that if converted to other combinations such as A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), the standard score would be higher.

For example, with combination C00 in the Economic Law major, candidates must achieve 28.79 points to be admitted, because this combination's score is 3.24 points higher than the original combination D01. Meanwhile, combinations A01 and A00 will be 0.29 and 1.39 points higher, respectively.

Hanoi Law University's benchmark scores in 2025 according to group D01 are as follows:

Benchmark scores of 13 faculties and schools of Hue University

English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy are the two majors with the highest standard score at Hue University, with 30 points.

Hue University announced the benchmark scores for the methods on the afternoon of August 22. Based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, the benchmark scores range from 15 to 30, with the highest being English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy. In particular, the English Pedagogy major uses the secondary criteria of a minimum foreign language score of 9.5 and a Literature score of 8.5. As for Chinese Pedagogy, the foreign language score must be 10. Compared to last year, both majors have increased by about 2.9-3.5 points.

Following is the Literature Pedagogy major with 28.9 points. Seven majors with a benchmark score of 27 or higher include French Pedagogy, Primary Education, Primary Education (trained in English), Political Education, History Pedagogy, Geography Pedagogy, and History - Geography Pedagogy.

Hanoi University's highest benchmark score is 34.35/40

On the afternoon of August 22, Hanoi University announced the admission scores from 22.1 to 34.35 points, on a scale of 40. Of which, the Chinese Language major has the highest score, but down 1.45 points compared to last year. The Italian Language major has the lowest score - 22.1.

Academy of Public Administration and Management got the highest score of 24.4 points

At the main campus (Hanoi), the major with the highest standard score at the Academy is Tourism and Travel Services Management. The major with the lowest standard score is Information Systems, which is 19.75 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy's benchmark score in 2025 slightly decreased

The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has just announced the admission scores for the regular university program in 2025.

Accordingly, the benchmark scores range from 17 points (public health) to 27.34 points (medicine). This score is slightly lower than in 2024.

The dental industry has a benchmark score of 26.46, down from 27.35 points last year.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Information Technology leads the technology sector, scoring nearly 30 points.

Notably, the artificial intelligence industry received a score of 29.6 points. This is considered the highest standard score in the technology industry up to now.

In other ways, the school's scores are also relatively high.

Benchmark scores of schools under Hanoi National University

On the afternoon of August 22, member schools of Hanoi National University announced the benchmark scores for 2025.

This year, Hanoi National University plans to enroll more than 21,100 new students for 12 member schools. Admission methods include: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as VNU; considering the results of the high school graduation exam; and using the HSA assessment test scores.

Standard scores of some military schools

Medical field of Military Medical Academy The benchmark score is up to 30 points for female candidates in the Northern region. This score includes priority points.

The benchmark score for female candidates in the Southern region is 29.03 points.

The same 30 points is the benchmark for female candidates entering the International Relations major. Academy of Military Science.

Other majors/schools that recruit women all have a benchmark score above 28. Only Logistics Academy has a benchmark below this level of 27.83.

The highest benchmark score for Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 29.39 according to the high school graduation exam score, equivalent to the XTTN score of 1.2 is 93.18; the XTTN score of 1.3 is 95.64 and the TSA score is 86.97.

This afternoon (August 22), Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced the admission scores for 65 training programs in 2025. Accordingly, the admission scores range from 19.00 to 29.39 according to high school graduation exam scores.

The University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the benchmark scores for 2025. Accordingly, the History - Geography Pedagogy major has the highest benchmark score of 29.84 points. The major with the lowest benchmark score is Biology Pedagogy with 25.37 points.

Academy of Policy and Development has the highest benchmark score of 26.73

The benchmark score based on the school's high school graduation exam results is highest for the Economic Law major, group C00. For other groups of this major, the benchmark score is 24.73.

On a 40-point scale, the highest benchmark is for English Language with 30.02 points.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has just announced the admission scores for 2025.

Accordingly, the highest benchmark score is 25.65 points in the International Commercial Law major, group X78 (literature, English, economic and legal education).

Next is the X01 combination (math, literature, economic education and law) also of the International Commercial Law major, taking 25.35 points.

CMC University Benchmark

Van Lang University officially announced the admission benchmark scores according to admission methods in 2025 for 59 training majors.

Accordingly, the standard score for high school graduation is 15-20.5 points. The method of considering academic records takes 18-23 points. The method of considering the Ho Chi Minh City National University's ability assessment test scores takes 500-750 points. The method of considering the V-SAT ability assessment test scores takes 200-270 points.
