Graduation exam scores for most subjects decreased, but many universities recorded record benchmark scores.
The majors with a benchmark score of 30 are English and Chinese Pedagogy of Hue University and University of Foreign Languages (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), International Relations of the Academy of Military Science, and Medicine of the Military Medical Academy.

Diplomatic Academy has the highest benchmark score of 26.09
The Diplomatic Academy's benchmark scores range from 24.17 to 26.09, with the highest being in Chinese Studies.
On the evening of August 22, the Diplomatic Academy announced the benchmark scores for admission methods. With the 2025 high school graduation exam scores (method 100), the benchmark scores range from 24.17 to 26.09. Of which, the Chinese Studies major continues to lead - 26.09, down 3.11 points compared to last year.
Three majors with a benchmark score of 25 or higher include International Relations, English Language, and International Communications. The remaining majors all have a benchmark score of 24 or higher, the lowest being American Studies - 24.17.

For group C00 (Literature, History, Geography), the admission score is three points higher.
The remaining two methods are considering transcripts with international certificates (code 410) and considering A-level and IB certificates with equal scores, ranging from 26.78 to 27.89, depending on the major.
The highest benchmark score of the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology is 26.21.
Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT) has a benchmark score from 21 to 26.21, applied to majors and training programs in Hanoi.

University of Finance - Marketing (UFM) has a benchmark score of 22.1-25.63, based on high school graduation exam results.
On the evening of August 22, the admissions board of the University of Finance and Marketing announced the admission scores for all four admission methods.
Compared to last year, this year's benchmark score increased by about 0.5-2 points in most majors. Economics had the highest admission score - 25.63 points, the lowest was Real Estate with 22.1 points.
These two majors also hold the leading and last positions in terms of academic transcript benchmark scores with about 24.66-27.63.
With the method of evaluating the capacity of Ho Chi Minh City National University, many majors of the school have scores above 900/1200 such as Economics, English Language, Economic Management, Management Information Systems.

The Academy of Finance announced the benchmark scores from 21 to 26.6 (on a scale of 30) on the evening of August 22. Three majors with 26 points include Marketing, Finance - Banking 2 (majoring in Corporate Finance; Financial Analysis), and Auditing. Of which, Auditing has the highest score - 26.6 points.
12 majors have the lowest score - from 21 points. The benchmark scores for the remaining majors range from 22.55 - 25.56.
The highest benchmark score for Hanoi Medical University is 28.7.
Hanoi Medical University (HMU) has a standard score from 17 to 28.7, the highest is Psychology in the C00 group (Literature, History, Geography), and Medicine takes 28.13 points.
According to the announcement of Hanoi Medical University on August 22, after Medicine is Dentistry with 27.34 points. Both are considered the graduation exam score of combination B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology).

The benchmark score of Hanoi Law University (HLU) is from 19.75 to 25.55 according to the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English), in which the majors at the Hanoi campus are not lower than 23.2.
On August 22, Hanoi Law University announced the admission scores according to the original combination D01 of the high school graduation exam. Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ba Binh, Vice Principal, said that if converted to other combinations such as A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), the standard score would be higher.
For example, with combination C00 in the Economic Law major, candidates must achieve 28.79 points to be admitted, because this combination's score is 3.24 points higher than the original combination D01. Meanwhile, combinations A01 and A00 will be 0.29 and 1.39 points higher, respectively.

Benchmark scores of 13 faculties and schools of Hue University
English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy are the two majors with the highest standard score at Hue University, with 30 points.
Hue University announced the benchmark scores for the methods on the afternoon of August 22. Based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, the benchmark scores range from 15 to 30, with the highest being English Pedagogy and Chinese Pedagogy. Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy's benchmark score in 2025 slightly decreased
The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy has just announced the admission scores for the regular university program in 2025.
