Admission scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2024 increased slightly

On the morning of August 18, Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities announced the admission scores for 2024.

This year, the school's admission score based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 22 to 28.8 points, a slight increase compared to 2023.

In particular, the average admission score for the C00 block has increased by 2-3 points compared to the 2023 standard score as predicted. In particular, the religious studies major has increased by 5 points (the C00 block standard score in 2023 is 21 points, in 2024 is 26 points).

In 2024, the top benchmark scores are completely dominated by the C00 admission combination, specifically journalism is the major with the highest admission score of 28.88 points.

Next is tourism and travel services management with 28.33 points, cultural studies with 28.2 points, art studies with 28.15 points and history with 28.1 points. In addition, there are 22 majors according to the exam block with a standard score of 27 points or more, accounting for 16.17% of the total.

The three new majors enrolling in 2024 also have relatively high benchmark scores, specifically: art studies 26.75-28.15 points, international studies 25.75-27 points, and Korean business and commerce 24-26.96 points.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27, all admitted candidates must complete the first round of online admission confirmation on the System.

Candidates who do not confirm admission within the prescribed time, without a valid reason, will be considered as refusing admission and the training institution has the right to not accept them.

Candidates who have confirmed their enrollment at a training institution are not allowed to participate in the admission process elsewhere or in additional admission rounds, unless permitted by the training institution.

In addition, candidates need to follow each school's separate admission instructions to comply with regulations.
