According to the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Ban town, the competition will contribute to improving the quality of cadres working in the Fatherland Front; fostering skills and expertise, and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at the grassroots level during the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country; and innovating and improving the effectiveness of the Fatherland Front's participation in building the Party and the government at the local level.

This is also an opportunity for grassroots Front officials to exchange experiences and learn from successful models and effective methods in diversifying forms of mobilization, gathering, and expanding the great national unity; and to build and strengthen the organization and activities of the Front increasingly effectively.

The competition also serves as a basis for the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town to objectively assess the situation and quality of front work and the team of front officials at the grassroots level.
