| The roads in Kim Ninh village have been paved with concrete, making travel more convenient for the residents. |
Leading us along the clean and well-maintained roads, Mr. Pham Quang Kiem, Party Secretary and Head of Kim Ninh village, said: "The village has 175 households, but they have donated over 7,000 square meters of land and contributed over 1 billion VND to renovate 3.8 km of roads. With the strength of large-scale livestock farming and 12 hectares of planted forest, people's incomes are constantly increasing, and the poverty rate is expected to decrease to 2.2% by the end of 2025."
This transformation is also clearly evident in Ho Sen village. In 2025, with support from the State and the collective efforts of the community, four new houses were built for poor households with financial assistance ranging from 50 to 60 million VND per house. In addition, more than 650 meters of rural roads and alleyways were concreted with cement donations and community contributions.
This spring, Mr. Trinh Van Phuong of Ho Sen village is doubly happy to celebrate Tet in his new house, built with 60 million VND in support. Mr. Phuong said emotionally, “Without the care of the Party, the State, and our neighbors, I don’t know when I would have been able to have such a sturdy house. This spring is so warm, and my family will strive to work hard and produce to escape poverty.”
The year 2025 concluded with significant achievements in the socio -economic development of Binh Ca commune. Overcoming difficulties, the commune completed and exceeded 14 out of 16 targets set by the province and the commune's People's Council.
Comrade Duong Van Hoa, Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune, happily shared: “The biggest highlight is the synchronized growth. State budget revenue in the area reached an impressive figure of over 4.4 billion VND, equivalent to 175% of the projected amount. Average per capita income reached 5.1 million VND/month. This is an important foundation for improving the quality of life for the people. Not only focusing on the economy, Binh Ca also prioritizes protecting its “green lungs” with a forest cover rate of 42%. Education and healthcare have also achieved proud results: 100% of primary schools meet national standards; 100% of people have health insurance cards.”
During the year, Binh Ca also completed the demolition of 56 temporary and dilapidated houses, bringing the happiness of stable housing to dozens of families. The rate of culturally exemplary families reached nearly 98%, and 100% of villages achieved the title of cultural village, demonstrating a healthy and progressive spiritual life.
The sounds of spring festival drums resound throughout the villages. With the achievements already made, Binh Ca is confidently entering the new year of the Horse with renewed vigor, determined to unite and mobilize all resources to build a prosperous and happy life, becoming a shining example for Tuyen Quang province.
