After the reorganization, the new Dong Nai province will have an area of ​​12,737.17 square kilometers, equivalent to 255% of the prescribed standard. In terms of population, the new province will have 4,224,148 people, reaching 302% of the standard, creating an administrative - economic center of leading stature in the South.

In particular, the administrative and political center of the new Dong Nai province will be located in Bien Hoa city (later reorganized as Tran Bien ward).
