Actor Thuong Tin passed away at the age of 69 in his hometown of Phan Rang due to old age and many illnesses.

Musician To Hieu - who was close to artist Thuong Tin during his final years - informed VietNamNet reporter that he passed away at noon on December 8.

He is at home with Thuong Tin's son - Thanh Tung, helping with the funeral for the male artist.

In early 2021, Thuong Tin suffered a stroke and his health seriously declined. In September 2024, he fell while getting off a bus and had to be hospitalized.

At the end of December 2024, Thuong Tin visited the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic Hospital and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the right knee and a broken patella. If he did not undergo surgery, he would be at risk of disability.

However, the male artist's health was weak and he could not undergo surgery. After that, he stayed at To Hieu's private home for a while and then returned to his hometown in Khanh Hoa .
