Dinh Hien Anh shared that from the moment she entered the arts and pursued folk music, she has researched Vietnamese clothing through different historical periods. “Born and raised in a traditional family in Nghe An province, I have loved national culture since I was young. From the way I live to my choice of music… everything comes from my heart. Therefore, when performing, I always wear traditional ao dai from previous decades or modernized dresses with materials and patterns that are distinctly Eastern. Not only because it suits the music, but also because I feel most feminine and gentle in those outfits,” she said.

"I'm just one of millions of people who love national culture and are trying to preserve traditional beauty in modern life. And I'm happy that more and more young people are interested in Vietnamese traditional clothing. This shows that they are not superficial, but deeply appreciate the old values of so many generations of their ancestors," she confided.
