Young photographer Nguyen Minh Tu also chose to take part in the contest with a photo of the sunrise at the sacred peak of Fansipan. The photo depicts the moment when the sunlight melts the dew away, the slanting rays of sunlight shine through the space, reflecting on the metal spire marking the peak of 3143m, creating brilliant light reflections.
The author could not hide his impression of the beauty of the Roof of Indochina: “We were dumbfounded before the expensive scenery. Very different from the sunrises we have ever seen. Not like the plateau, not like the sea, even less like in the city. Sometimes there are moments we can record in frames, but human emotions can only be felt, imprinted in the bottom of the eyes and kept in the heart. Can't forget but will always remember…the moment of dawn on the top of Fansipan.”

The Great Amitabha Buddha in the white clouds is also an endless source of inspiration for many photographers. This is the highest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam, with a height of 21,5m, made up of thousands of thousands of 5mm thick copper plates, with a total weight of 62 tons. Four seasons of flowers bloom, the natural scenery changes every minute, making Fansipan show up in all shapes and sizes in each contest entry. But it is not difficult to realize that this beauty seems to have a common formula, which is the harmony between the overwhelming nature of the Northwest mountains and the works crafted by human hands and brains. Fansipan is therefore the beauty of the mountains and rivers, of Vietnamese wisdom that photographers are proud to introduce to the world.
