Dinh Thuy makes singer Doan Trang "melt", famous singer Ngoc Anh asks for a duet

The second night of the Star Arena transformation round with the theme of Heart Fire brought uplifting and emotional moments from the contestants from three coaching teams.

Each performance is not only a competition, but also an affirmation of the artist’s artistic personality, breakthrough spirit and endless passion from the artist’s heart. The three coaches shared very sincere and interesting things about how to build their team’s strategy.

Coach Sy Luan said: “In the first round, everyone wants to have a safe plan. But from this round, we will be more aggressive, adjusting our tactics to suit our opponents and the audience”. On the contrary, Coach Doan Trang showed her strong personality: “This is a competition where you have to show everyone who you are, you have to be formidable right from the start”. As for Coach Quoc Dai, he said: “The competition is the fastest school to learn. I always set challenges for the contestants to overcome themselves”.

The opening night saw Ben Hoang Quan (coach Sy Luan’s team) perform the energetic song “My Road” with powerful choreography, impressing with his ability to handle high notes well and convey a positive message. The coaches appreciated his meticulousness and investment and found this to be a big step forward for him.

Poppy Nhat Liem (Coach Doan Trang's team), known as the "strategic card" in terms of choreography, brought the performance "Buong" with sophistication and personality, along with a surprising self-written rap and a unique challenge of raising his head to sing. He was praised for his ability to sing and dance well and his boldness in refreshing the song in a cinematic, magical direction. Both contestants excellently received a total score of 19.5.

“The Most Beautiful Summer” by Dinh Thuy - Coach Quoc Dai’s team was the closing performance of this week’s program, and at the same time became the biggest highlight of the competition night. Not dancing as skillfully as Ben Hoang Quan or Poppy Nhat Liem, Dinh Thuy appeared in a white suit like a calm “white horse prince”, singing in a warm, gentle voice. He brought to the Dau Truong Ngoi Sao stage a sweet, emotional atmosphere expressing the infatuation of a man. From his demeanor to his singing voice, Dinh Thuy quickly “captured” the hearts of the coaches and judges.

Throughout the performance, GK Ngoc Anh repeatedly expressed her love for Dinh Thuy's voice. The famous female singer even expressed her desire to sing a duet with Dinh Thuy: "Your voice is a natural gift, a gift from God. Whatever I expect in the song, you perform very well. You sing so well, I wish I could sing a duet with you."

GK Long Nhat continued: “You sing simply, properly and politely. You go high and low as if nothing happened, no need to prepare anything. You sing very well. I love you.” This is a rare performance that makes the two judges stand up and applaud right after the contestant finishes the song.

Commenting on Dinh Thuy's performance, Coach Doan Trang said: "The fire of the heart does not necessarily have to burn fiercely, but can be a smoldering, deep fire. You melted my heart". Coach Sy Luan did not hesitate to praise: "In the past 10 years, I have not met a voice like yours, very powerful, resonant and delicately handling the song. This is a difficult song and the arrangement is also difficult, but you performed very well, I tried to find a loophole but could not find it".

With a perfect score of 20, Dinh Thuy officially became the contestant with the highest score of the night.
