On the afternoon of December 27, a working delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly (Korea) led by Mr. Yom Jong Hyun, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, visited and worked at Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd. (Dong Van I Industrial Park, Duy Tien town) and FPT Polytechnic College - Ha Nam .
Welcoming and working with the delegation were comrades: Dang Thanh Son, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board and leaders of Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the meeting, the leaders of Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd. expressed their honor to welcome the delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Parliamentary Assembly and the Ha Nam Provincial People's Council to visit and work at the company. At the same time, they introduced to the delegates the Seoul Semiconductor Vina Factory in Dong Van I Industrial Park. This is a 100% Korean-owned project inaugurated by Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd. on May 27, 2017. Seoul Semiconductor Vina Factory is built on an area of over 7.5 hectares; specializing in the production of semiconductor products, LED lights and high-tech LED components serving the fields of energy saving, lighting, electronics, telecommunications, etc. Since its construction and operation, the project has had positive developments, had a profound impact and is consistent with the high-tech development strategy, supporting industry and socio-economic development planning of Ha Nam province.
Mr. Yom Jong Hyun, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly congratulated the successes that Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd. has achieved in the past time. At the same time, he affirmed that Seoul Semiconductor Vina Co., Ltd.'s choice of Ha Nam as a place to invest in developing factories, production lines, etc. is of great significance, bringing many advantages and development opportunities. With favorable conditions in terms of transportation, infrastructure, etc., Mr. Yom Jong Hyun hopes that many companies in Gyeonggi Province in particular and Korea in general will choose Ha Nam as a destination for investment, production and business development.

At the meeting, representatives of FPT Polytechnic College - Ha Nam introduced to delegates an overview of the FPT education system nationwide and the current FPT education complex in Ha Nam province.

Mr. Yom Jong Hyun, Chairman of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly, expressed his impression of the educational space, infrastructure, and teaching equipment of FPT Polytechnic College - Ha Nam. Hopefully, this advanced and modern teaching model will continue to be replicated in Ha Nam as well as Vietnam. Also attending the working delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly were experts and businesses in the field of education and training. This will be an opportunity to open up new cooperation between the two provinces in education and training in the future.
At the meeting, representatives of FPT Polytechnic College – Ha Nam and education experts from Gyeonggi province had frank and open exchanges about training experiences in new technology fields; job opportunities for technology students at Korean enterprises; new educational management methods... in Korea and Vietnam today.
