Dress rehearsal for the new play in 2025

On the evening of June 28th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a dress rehearsal for its new play for 2025. The play, titled "The Child Returns to Mother," is written by Bui Vu Minh and directed by People's Artist Tran Hoai Thu.

"Coming Home to My Mother" is a touching story about the sense of responsibility and deep affection of a local police officer for the people.

Cuong, a dedicated and responsible police officer, sacrificed his personal happiness to share the joys and sorrows of the people in a remote and disadvantaged area. Sympathizing with the suffering of Mrs. Viet, the mother of a fallen soldier who had waited nearly 50 years for her son's return from the army, he overcame all difficulties, venturing to the former battlefield to find the remains of the fallen soldier Viet for his mother, who was waiting anxiously.

This play is in response to the campaign launched by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ha Nam Provincial Police to identify unidentified martyrs by collecting DNA samples from their relatives.
