Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung expressed his hope that the delegation from Trnava region - Republic of Slovakia would promote the potential, advantages, cultural traditions of Ha Tinh province and its people to international partners so that more businesses would invest in the province.

During their visit and working trip to Ha Tinh, on the afternoon of November 30th, the delegation from the Trnava Autonomous Region of the Republic of Slovakia, led by its Chairman, Jozep Vikupic, paid a courtesy visit to the leaders of Ha Tinh province.

At the meeting, Mr. Jozep Vikupic, Chairman of the Trnava Autonomous Region, expressed his gratitude for the sincere feelings and thoughtful, respectful welcome from the leaders of Ha Tinh during this working visit.

Mr. Jozep Vikupic emphasized: "During the visit of the Ha Tinh delegation to Trnava in October 2023, we had the opportunity to introduce the potential and advantages of the region. Accordingly, Trnava has strengths in innovative technology, science and technology; the automotive manufacturing industry; and the wine production sector... Through this trip, we witnessed the development of investment projects and the overall development of the province, as well as gaining a better understanding of Ha Tinh's culture. These are also the foundations for Trnava and Ha Tinh to cooperate and develop together in the future."

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that Vietnam and the Republic of Slovakia have a good traditional relationship. Over the years, the friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Slovakia, as well as between localities of the two countries, have continued to be strengthened and developed well and extensively. Recently, the delegation from Ha Tinh province had a successful visit and working trip to the Trnava region. The delegation worked, exchanged ideas, met with, and received sincere affection and thoughtful hospitality from the Trnava region. Both sides also exchanged and agreed on the contents of cooperation agreements to further strengthen the relationship between Ha Tinh and Trnava, contributing to the socio -economic development of both sides and further fostering the traditional cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Republic of Slovakia.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also provided information on the potential, advantages, and some outstanding features of the province in socio-economic development, investment attraction, and planning implementation...

Accordingly, Ha Tinh is the central region of North Central Vietnam, with advantages in developing industry, tourism, port services, logistics, and renewable energy, with two key national economic zones: the Vung Ang Economic Zone and the Cau Treo International Border Gate Economic Zone.

In 2023, the province's economic growth was estimated at over 8%, ranking first in the North Central region and 15th nationwide. Currently, Ha Tinh has 6 UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage sites; 2 UNESCO-recognized prominent figures; and its education and training sector is among the top in the country.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his hope that the Trnava region would continue to support Ha Tinh province in promoting the province's potential, advantages, cultural traditions, and people to international partners, so that more businesses from Trnava would invest in the province. At the same time, he requested continued attention, support, and favorable conditions for Vietnamese people in general, and people from Ha Tinh in particular, residing in Trnava for their studies, work, and lives, giving them more opportunities to contribute to the development of both Vietnam and Slovakia.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his hope that in the future, the traditional cooperative relationship between Ha Tinh province and the Trnava region in particular, and between Vietnam and the Republic of Slovakia in general, will continue to develop.
