On the afternoon of January 13th, the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation, led by Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, and National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh Province, along with other National Assembly Delegates from the province, visited and extended New Year greetings to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and workers in Uong Bi City.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau , Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, and Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, suggested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of policy beneficiary families and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution in their areas through specific and practical actions and activities, demonstrating the national tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source."

On this occasion, he presented the President's congratulatory card for the 100th birthday to Heroic Vietnamese Mother Hoang Thi Nghi.

On the same day, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also visited and extended New Year greetings to the officials and workers of Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company – Vinacomin.

In 2024, despite facing numerous difficulties in production and business operations, particularly the impact of Typhoon No. 3, thanks to the close and decisive guidance of the province and the TKV Group, the entire leadership and employees of the Company united and strived to overcome challenges. Coal production exceeded 3.8 million tons, reaching 101.8% of the plan; coal consumption exceeded 3.4 million tons; revenue reached 6,372.8 billion VND, reaching 102.6% of the plan; average salary was 20.9 million VND/person/month; and contributions to the State budget amounted to 1,070 billion VND.

In particular, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company – Vinacomin spent 65.5 billion VND on Tet gifts for its employees; and distributed 13th-month salaries totaling 70 billion VND, averaging 12 million VND per person.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, and National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province, commended the achievements of Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin in 2024. He requested that in the coming time, the Company continue to be a pioneer, upholding the spirit of "Discipline and Unity" of the miners, and successfully complete all production and business tasks set forth.
