The National Assembly delegation met to agree on the content of thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection.

On the afternoon of February 26, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies held a meeting to unify thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection (EP) since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect in Quang Ninh province. Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies chaired the meeting.

According to the plan, the monitoring content focuses on the promulgation and completion of policies and laws on environmental protection: Assessing the institutionalization of the Party's policies on environmental protection; assessing the results of developing, promulgating and completing policies and laws to implement the Law on Environmental Protection in 2020; the establishment, appraisal and approval of the National Environmental Protection Strategy, the National Environmental Protection Plan; the organization of implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection: Assessing the organization of implementation, implementation of policies and laws and the content of state management on environmental protection...

Speaking at the meeting, members of the monitoring delegation focused on the following contents: Expanding the scope of monitoring associated with sectors and fields related to environmental protection work in the province; ...

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, requested the secretariat, based on the comments of the members of the monitoring delegation, to supplement the content to complete the detailed plan; select the bottlenecks related to the policy mechanism to study and find solutions. Comrade, agreed with adding more monitoring subjects, according to specific groups of environmental indicators for areas such as: Health, agriculture , industry, etc.

In addition, expand the monitoring component to include experts in the environmental field.
