BIDV Binh Dinh cooperates to promote green transformation and digital payments

On October 14, at the headquarters of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam - Binh Dinh branch ( BIDV Binh Dinh) and Lado Transport and Tourism Joint Stock Company (Lado taxi), a comprehensive cooperation agreement was signed, marking an important step in the green transformation journey and promoting cashless payments.

According to the agreement, BIDV Binh Dinh will sponsor the project of installing 22 electric vehicle charging stations in Gia Lai province (old Binh Dinh area), and at the same time implement a contract to pay salaries to nearly 1,000 Lado employees and drivers.

Responding to the Government 's "cashless payment" program, BIDV Binh Dinh presented 700 sets of QR codes to Lado taxi drivers, and at the same time implemented an attractive incentive mechanism to encourage drivers to pay and use services and utilities in the BIDV Binh Dinh ecosystem.

At the same time, BIDV Binh Dinh deploys preferential credit packages under the green transformation program, supporting Lado to expand electric vehicle infrastructure, contributing to the development of green, sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation.

On the business side, Lado taxi commits to using the main account system at BIDV Binh Dinh, and at the same time encourages its staff to use BIDV's banking products and services.

The two sides will also work together to promote their images, strengthen communication cooperation and develop parallel brands.

Previously, in June 2025, with the goal of bringing online public services (DVC) closer to people and businesses, BIDV Binh Dinh coordinated with the Office of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province (now Gia Lai province) to deploy an online DVC agent model at 7 credit transaction points of the bank in the wards: Quy Nhon, Quy Nhon Nam.

Here, the bank arranges a separate area and staff to support people and businesses in submitting and looking up documents and using online public services; at the same time, it guides people in paying fees and charges safely and conveniently.

In addition, BIDV Binh Dinh also deployed a smart kiosk model through the installation of 12 kiosks at the Gia Lai Provincial Public Administration Service Center and the public administration service centers of communes and wards to serve people and businesses.

The kiosks are equipped with touch screens, card readers, printers, scanners, integrating many main functions, such as: submitting, looking up documents, looking up other related documents and paying public service fees.

In particular, the kiosk supports citizens and businesses to directly carry out administrative procedures in important fields, such as: justice, civil status, land, construction, business registration, both during and outside of office hours.
