In his opening speech at the ceremony, Dr. Pham Huy Quang, Principal of the University of Theatre and Cinema, Ho Chi Minh City, could not help but be moved when looking back at a challenging but very proud year for the staff, lecturers and leaders of the school, marking an important milestone in starting the policies of a new development period, with profound strategic orientations from the Party and the State.

The past years have been a time of great significance for the University of Theatre and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City, with proud achievements: More than 90% of graduates have jobs, with many shining at film festivals and professional stages; research projects on cinema and theatre have helped us affirm our position as the leading training center for Theatre and Cinema arts in the Southern region.

The school strengthens its links with recruitment agencies, businesses, film studios, stages, equipment companies, etc. and builds practical projects to nurture talents, student film festivals, traditional and modern stage festivals, etc. to turn theory into real works of art, contributing to the preservation and promotion of national cultural identity in the context of globalization.
