Gold rings of one brand exceed 151 million VND/tael

The price of gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Ltd. has exceeded 151 million VND/tael, higher than the price of SJC gold bars. This is an unprecedented price of precious metals in the Vietnamese market.

Domestic gold prices continue to increase sharply following the trend in the world market.

The price of gold rings on October 15 was also adjusted to increase sharply by brands. Some units even listed the price of gold rings higher than SJC gold bars, exceeding 151 million VND/tael for selling.

Specifically, this afternoon, the price of 1-5 chi SJC gold rings was traded at 143.7-145.9 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 1.4 million VND/tael in both buying and selling compared to yesterday's closing price.

Similarly, the price of 9999 gold rings at Doji increased by 300,000 VND/tael for buying and 1.3 million VND/tael more expensive for selling compared to yesterday's closing price, trading at 144.2-147.2 million VND/tael (buying - selling).

Notably, at 2:17 p.m., Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited raised the price of plain gold rings to a record level of 148.5 - 151.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

Thus, the price of Bao Tin Minh Chau gold rings has "surpassed" the price of SJC gold bars.

China's tough stance, gold price soars to 147.6 million VND/tael: Difficult to stop the increase. Beijing's reaction may make President Donald Trump more cautious in the trade war with China. Expectations of US interest rate cuts and escalating tensions continue to push gold prices to new peaks.
