Actress Dong Lap Pham, famous for her roles as wealthy women, was confirmed to have died five years ago. However, it was only now that the Chinese media learned about it and reported it publicly.
On December 3, China News reported that in recent days, Chinese netizens have been buzzing about the news that actress Dong Lifan passed away 5 years ago. This topic quickly climbed to the top of Weibo's hot search. She is said to have passed away on December 8, 2020.

Later, the media discovered that when the movie Dream Forest premiered in 2023, Dong Lap Pham's name was specially framed in white in the cast and crew information section at the end of the movie. However, no one paid attention at that time.

Cemetery staff in Shenyang confirmed to reporters that the veteran female star is indeed buried there.

According to ETToday, the cause of death was illness. Because the family wanted privacy, the funeral was not held publicly, leading to the news of Ms. Dong's death going unnoticed.

Dong Lap Pham was born on March 5, 1964 in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China. His education level was only at secondary school.

Dong's biggest dream was to sing. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked part-time and practiced singing. She was discovered during an amateur performance. From then on, she followed the Shenyang Song and Dance Troupe and the Liaoning Ballet Troupe on tour.

In 1990, she became part of Chinese showbiz by collaborating with comedian Zhao Benshan in the film The World's Fair. Four years later, Ms. Dong participated in the film To Live by director Zhang Yimou.

In 2000, she appeared in the comedy Happy Times, also directed by Zhang Yimou. In 2007, Dong Lifan played the role of a "fat lady" in the comedy Crazy Car, directed by Ning Hao and starring Huang Bo. Thanks to this role, she became widely known to the audience.
