At noon on October 15, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, closed. In his closing speech, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang informed the results after nearly 3 days of work.

Secretary Tran Luu Quang said that the congress focused on discussing documents and passed the congress resolution. This resolution is a convergence of the will, aspirations and political determination of the entire Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period, with 30 main targets, 3 strategic breakthroughs and 10 key tasks and solutions.

The Congress clearly defined the motto, goals, strategic orientation for the next 5 years and longer-term vision.

The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030 took place at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials from October 13 - 15, 2025. The official delegates summoned to attend the congress were 547, including 106 ex-officio delegates and 441 appointed delegates.

With a spirit of urgency, seriousness and high responsibility, the congress was a great success, completing all the contents and programs set out.
