The area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa also had scattered showers, with some places experiencing heavy rain, with rainfall ranging from 15-30mm.

According to monitoring data, some stations recorded rainfall of over 70mm such as: Minh Thanh ( Cao Bang ), Cong Lan (Hung Yen), Xuan Minh 2 (Tuyen Quang), Chi Thanh (Dak Lak), Tan Phuong 2 (Lao Cai) and Sa Rai (Dong Thap) with the highest rainfall reaching 72.6mm.

In the next 24 hours, the area from Quang Tri to Khanh Hoa and the South is forecast to continue to have scattered showers and thunderstorms; total rainfall is generally 15-30mm, locally over 70mm. Rainfall will mainly be concentrated in the afternoon and evening, especially in the South. Some places may have heavy rain, reaching over 50mm in 6 hours.
