Da Nang announces first heritage tour of Hoi An and My Son after merging with Quang Nam

To attract visitors from Southeast Asian countries, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang organized a delegation to Singapore to attend the largest tourism fair in the region.

On October 15, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City said that members of the delegation attending the ITB Asia 2025 Fair at the Marina Bay Sands Exhibition Center (Singapore) are still present to introduce the unique destinations of Da Nang after merging with Quang Nam province from July 1.

At ITB Asia 2025, Da Nang city's tourism industry organized a prominent booth with the theme " New Da Nang - new experiences ".

Notably, in addition to updating attractive tourist attractions in the old city center of Da Nang, this year Da Nang's booth also introduced some destinations that are world cultural heritages such as Hoi An and My Son (formerly in Quang Nam province).

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, the city's booth has updated the prominent destination of the journey to experience the world cultural heritage with the ancient town of Hoi An - My Son temple complex - Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot.

After a period of infrastructure preparation and promotion, Da Nang is now also emerging in Southeast Asia with MICE tourism, luxury resort tourism, golf, green tourism, and island tourism.

In addition, the Da Nang tourism industry also displayed handicraft products, OCOP products, local specialties; introduced the stimulus program of 3 passports including Da Nang food tour, Heritage tour and Green tour.

Many visitors attending the fair were particularly interested in policies to attract Mice tourists, wedding tourism to Da Nang and the series of festivals - cultural, sports and tourism events at the end of 2025 and 2026.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, in the first 9 months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed nearly 70,000 Singaporean visitors.

There are currently 21 flights per week from Singapore to Da Nang operated by Singapore Airlines and Vietjet Air. In particular, Scoot Airlines will open a new route from Singapore to Da Nang at the end of October 2025.

ITB Asia 2025 is the leading travel trade fair in the Asia-Pacific region, held annually.

This fair attracts a large number of tourism agencies, destinations, airlines, hotels, travel companies, tour operators and technology businesses from many countries.

This year's fair attracted more than 1,000 exhibitors, 18,500 attendees, 1,400 international buyers from 132 countries and territories.
