Highlighting the role of women in implementing the '3 clean' model

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Head of the Women's Affairs Department, Vietnam Women's Union, said: In recent years, the National Target Program (NTP) on new rural construction (NTM) has achieved many important results, contributing to changing the face of rural areas and improving the material and spiritual life of the people. Contributing to the NTP on new rural construction, women's unions at all levels have deployed and replicated the "3 clean" model, attracting a large number of members and women in many localities to participate.

Deputy Head of the Women's Affairs Department, Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy said: Implementing the criteria in building advanced and model new rural areas today requires further promoting the core role of women in propaganda and mobilizing people to classify waste at source, use clean water, plant trees, build model gardens and safe and friendly living spaces for women and children.

The Vietnam Women's Union organized a training course on implementing the "3 clean" model to build a bright - green - clean, safe rural landscape for women and children with the desire to help women improve their knowledge and skills in organizing and implementing the "3 clean" model in accordance with local realities. From there, cadres, members and women promoted the spirit of initiative and creativity to effectively implement the model, contributing together with the political system to complete the goal of building a sustainable, civilized, and unique new rural area.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union hopes that, in addition to the Central Committee's training program, all levels of the union will continue to promote propaganda, mobilize resources, and encourage members and women to actively implement the "3 clean" model. Each cadre, member, and woman after being trained will become an active propagandist in environmental protection, building a bright - green - clean - safe new rural area.

Attending the training, cadres, members and women learned about the environment, the consequences of environmental impacts; the current status of waste treatment in the province; the negative impacts of household waste; the benefits of waste classification at source. In addition, cadres, members and women were instructed on how to properly classify waste at source; learned about the importance of clean water and learned more about the role of the association at all levels, members and women in implementing the "3 clean" model...
