HDBank provides credit support to help women and small traders restore their livelihoods after storms and floods

On the morning of December 6, at the headquarters of the Provincial People's Committee, Facility 2 (Tuy Hoa Ward), the signing ceremony of credit financing cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) and the Provincial Women's Union took place.

Speaking at the ceremony, HDBank General Director Nguyen Huu Dang said that over the past time, HDBank has always accompanied people in disaster-hit areas through many social security support activities. In the face of the great losses that Dak Lak people have suffered after storms and floods, the bank wants to share the difficulties and help people rebuild their lives through preferential credit packages.

Accordingly, HDBank has set aside two credit packages totaling VND4,000 billion to support livelihood restoration. The first package worth VND2,000 billion is specifically for women starting or expanding their businesses .

The second package is 2,000 billion VND for small traders and production and business establishments damaged by floods, with a maximum loan of 300 million VND/customer, helping people have capital to quickly restore operations.

Appreciating this timely support, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Thi Nguyen Thao affirmed that the two credit packages of HDBank are of great significance to women and small traders in difficult times after natural disasters.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Thi Nguyen Thao expressed her gratitude to the leadership, staff and employees of HDBank for always caring and sharing with the community. At the same time, she hoped that in the coming time, the bank would continue to work with the locality in social security programs and activities to provide more resources for people to develop production and improve their lives.

“How to ensure that capital reaches the right target, helping people access it quickly to quickly restore production and business, and stabilize their lives. In case of difficulties and problems, both sides need to proactively propose solutions so that the program can be implemented effectively and on target,” Mr. Hoang Linh emphasized.
