Dong Thap: Assigning the investor to implement the social housing project on Nguyen Trai extended road

(DTO) On December 5, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Dieu signed Decision No. 1817 assigning Son An Huong Son Joint Stock Company as the investor to implement the Nguyen Trai extended social housing project according to legal regulations on specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development, which has been approved for investment policy.

Accordingly, the Nguyen Trai extended social housing project is located in Son Qui ward, Dong Thap province.

The land area for the project is 6,960 m², including 2 areas (Area S1 4,392.2 m² and Area S2 2,567.8 m²). The project will provide 276 social housing apartments and about 3,006.9 m² of commercial service floor area. The expected population is 1,104 people; the construction land area is more than 2,565 m². The preliminary total investment is more than 357 billion VND.

The project is expected to start construction in the first quarter of 2026. In phase 1, the investor will construct area S2 to be completed 18 months after the date of the State's decision to allocate land, expected in the third quarter of 2027. In phase 2, the investor will construct area S1 to be completed 36 months after the date of the State's decision to allocate land, expected in the fourth quarter of 2028.

The People's Committee of Dong Thap province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and propose measures to handle investors who implement projects behind approved progress and do not ensure construction quality.
