Ho Chi Minh City provides legal training for businesses in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

On the morning of December 5, the Legal Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a conference to dialogue with businesses, provide training and foster legal knowledge to provide legal support to businesses operating in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.

Simplify administrative procedures in the fields of culture, sports and tourism

In his opening speech, Mr. Pham Cao Thai, Director of the Legal Department (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) said that the conference is an opportunity for state management agencies to directly meet and listen to businesses operating in the fields of culture, sports and tourism .

In 2025, most areas under the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will have changes in policies and new regulations. In particular, legal regulations will be adjusted in the spirit of maximally simplifying administrative procedures, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses. Therefore, updating information and understanding regulations are important requirements for production and business activities in the management areas of the culture, sports and tourism sector to be implemented smoothly and in accordance with regulations.

"We hope that the conference will not only be a one-way information activity. We will proactively introduce new legal documents, but more importantly, we want dialogue and frank exchange between management agencies and enterprises in their production and business activities. Difficulties and problems in the implementation process, whether related to legal regulations or implementation methods, need to be shared to find solutions together. With problems arising from legal regulations, we hope to receive timely proposals for amendments and supplements," Mr. Pham Cao Thai shared.

Ho Chi Minh City will create the most favorable foundation for business development.

According to Mr. Bui Huu Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, in recent years, the legal system related to the fields of culture, sports and tourism has been improved and supplemented to suit the requirements of economic and social development and international integration. This places higher demands on legal compliance, management capacity and adaptability of enterprises, especially small and medium enterprises, which are an important contributor to the development of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.

"As a local state management agency, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City is deeply aware that supporting businesses to comply with the law, removing difficulties, and creating favorable conditions for business activities is an important, continuous and long-term task. Ho Chi Minh City always considers businesses as the center of the development process, an important force contributing to urban culture, to the dynamism, creativity and resilience of the city. In the coming time, the Department will continue to listen to and accompany businesses, proactively coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and relevant agencies to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, and perfect mechanisms and policies. Thereby, creating the most favorable foundation for businesses to develop, actively contributing to the sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City and the country," affirmed the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, Director of the Legal Department Pham Cao Thai informed about legal regulations related to production and business activities of enterprises in the fields under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (film distribution and dissemination services, performing arts, travel services, karaoke - discotheque services, professional sports activities...).

Afterwards, businesses discussed and reflected on the difficulties and obstacles in the process of law enforcement as well as proposed solutions to improve the investment and business environment. Mr. Pham Cao Thai affirmed that all opinions at the conference will be compiled and reported to the Ministry's leaders for consideration, from which proposals will be made to amend, supplement regulations or adjust administrative documents accordingly.
