Bac Ninh: By October 2025, the whole province will have 668 OCOP products

BAC NINH - Implementing the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) Program, from 2018 to present, Bac Ninh province has achieved many outstanding results. According to the Department of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development (Department of Agriculture and Environment), by October 2025, the whole province will have 668 OCOP products with 3 stars or more.

Accordingly, in addition to the Luc Ngan Hong Xuan litchi product of the Hong Xuan Agricultural Production and General Service Cooperative, Chu ward, which is ranked 5 stars, Bac Ninh province has 74 4-star products, and the remaining 593 products are ranked 3 stars.

Huong Son pineapple products of Huong Son Clean Pineapple Cooperative (Kep commune) achieved 3-star OCOP certification.

Many outstanding OCOP products have appeared on modern distribution channels such as supermarkets and convenience stores such as: Nem Bui Thuong Hai, loofah sponge (Ninh Xa ward); Dong Ho paintings on bamboo blinds - Artisan Nguyen Huu Dao (Thuan Thanh ward); 3S mushroom sausage, 3S spring rolls, 3S sausages of Tin Nhiem Clean Food Service and Livestock Cooperative and Bac Giang lychee products of Vifoco Import-Export Joint Stock Company (both in Tien Phong ward); baby cucumbers of Yen Dung Clean Vegetable Cooperative (Yen Dung ward); Huong Son pineapples of Huong Son Clean Pineapple Cooperative (Kep commune)...

The province's OCOP products are diversified in many fields such as agricultural products, food processing, beverages, handicrafts, souvenirs, decorations, community tourism products and services such as: Bau Tien eco-tourism site of Dong Dao Tourism Cooperative (Phuong Son ward); Dong Bac cultural village tourist site of Dong Bac Cultural Tourism Service Cooperative (Chu ward)...

According to the Department of Economic Cooperation and Rural Development, in order to support entities in building OCOP products and expanding consumption markets, the province has recently focused on gradually standardizing product recognition processes, supporting entities in purchasing processing equipment, building cold storage, investing in new packaging, consulting on brand building, and origin traceability stamps.

At the same time, sectors and localities have increased training and guidance for entities to apply digital transformation, put products on e-commerce platforms, participate in fairs, and connect to multi-platform sales. Thanks to that, sales revenue has increased for many OCOP product manufacturing and trading units.

The reason why the number of OCOP products decreased compared to before September 2025 is because some products have expired (according to regulations, the recognition period is 36 months). The Department of Agriculture and Environment has sent a document to localities urging and guiding the subjects to complete the documents to be re-recognized as OCOP products.
