Organizing a conference to summarize the 2017 - 2025 period implementing Decision No. 88/QD-TTg dated January 20, 2017 of the Prime Minister

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 3366/VPCP-KGVX dated April 19, 2025 of the Government Office notifying the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh on summarizing the Project on Strengthening the capacity to effectively manage and enforce the law on copyright and related rights protection; At the request of the Director of the Copyright Office... The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to organize a conference to summarize the 2017 - 2025 period implementing Decision No. 88/QD-TTg dated January 20, 2017 of the Prime Minister.

The conference was held to summarize and comprehensively evaluate the implementation of the Project's contents compared to the objectives, tasks and targets approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 88/QD-TTg; Clearly identify the results achieved, the shortcomings, limitations, causes and lessons learned in the implementation process; Provide scientific and practical bases for competent authorities to consider and decide on continuing, adjusting or replicating the Project in the next phase; Ensure publicity, transparency and responsibility in the process of managing and using resources to implement the Project.

The conference to review the 2017 - 2025 period implementing Decision No. 88/QD-TTg dated January 20, 2017 of the Prime Minister is expected to take place in the fourth quarter of 2025 in Hue city.

The conference content includes: Summarizing and evaluating the implementation of tasks assigned by the Prime Minister to ministries, branches and localities according to Decision No. 88/QD-TTg; clearly identifying advantages, difficulties, subjective and objective causes; Consulting, exchanging and sharing on management orientations and enforcement of copyright and related rights in the coming time; Synthesizing and proposing practical and feasible solutions and recommendations, suitable to management practices and development requirements in the coming time.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires that the organization of the Conference must be carefully prepared, practical, economical and effective; ensuring quality of content, timely implementation and compliance with procedures, legal regulations and current guiding documents; coordination between relevant agencies and units must be close and consistent throughout the process of implementing the plan.

The Chief of Office of the Ministry, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Director of the Department of Copyright and Heads of relevant agencies and units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
