Ho Chi Minh City: 4 days, handled more than 1,800 cases of alcohol concentration violations

After 4 days of operation, the Traffic Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police have recorded and handled more than 1,800 cases of alcohol concentration violations; 8 cases of driving on the road with drugs in their body.

According to information from the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police, after 4 days of peak campaign to handle violations of alcohol and drug concentrations (from October 11 to 15) on road traffic routes, the Traffic Police force has recorded and handled more than 6,000 violations. Of which, more than 1,800 cases violated regulations on alcohol concentration; 8 cases of driving on the road with drugs in the body...

Traffic police force made a record to handle a violation case during peak period.

In addition, the traffic police also sent notices of violations via images to nearly 1,900 vehicle owners and violators for violations of speeding, driving on sidewalks, and parking illegally.

In parallel with patrolling and handling violations, the unit also promotes propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on traffic safety and order, especially contents related to prevention and handling of violations of alcohol and drug concentrations.
