Information from the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that recently, the An Suong Traffic Police Team has increased inspection and handling of passenger vehicles operating on routes, parking areas and pick-up and drop-off points managed by the unit.
The inspection content focuses on the operating status of the journey monitoring device (black box), cockpit and passenger compartment surveillance cameras, the use of driver identification cards and other regulations related to passenger transport activities.
Through that, traffic police discovered many violations.

Traffic police also regularly propagate and encourage business owners and bus and coach drivers in the area to install convex mirrors and "blind spot" surveillance cameras on the sides, front and rear of the vehicle to help drivers observe better and reduce the risk of collision.
Up to now, 13/13 businesses, with more than 120 buses, have installed convex mirrors, helping drivers to see better and limit "blind spots".

In reality, many serious traffic accidents involving passenger cars are caused by lack of observation, vehicles moving into "blind spots", monitoring devices not working , or drivers violating continuous driving time. Therefore, An Suong Traffic Police Team recommends that businesses and drivers need to maintain full monitoring devices, not arbitrarily disconnect; regularly check and install convex mirrors, rear cameras, and side cameras to observe "blind spots".
