

At the signing ceremony, more than 15 Hue enterprises with more than 80 typical products were officially brought into the distribution system of Saigon Co.op. This is a step to concretize the cooperative relationship between the three parties, creating conditions for Hue goods to reach closer to consumers nationwide.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Chairman of the Hue City Trade Cooperative Union, emphasized: “Hue has more than 320 cooperatives with 100,000 members, possessing many unique products that are difficult to match anywhere else, from agricultural products, seafood to traditional processed products. Connecting with Saigon Co.op will open a sustainable consumption channel, helping Vietnamese goods not only stand firm at home but also be competitive in integration.”


Today's cooperation is considered an effective "three-party" linkage model, in which the Hue City Cooperative Alliance plays the role of gathering and selecting qualified products, while providing legal support, quality certification, and proposing the development of Saigon Co.op sales points in Hue. The Hue Young Entrepreneurs Association takes on the role of connecting the business community, supporting marketing activities, promoting brands, and bringing products to fairs and trade promotion programs. On the Saigon Co.op side, this unit will guide the process and product standards, creating favorable conditions for Hue products to be consumed in the system, while supporting communication and promotion on a nationwide distribution network.


On the side of the Hue Young Entrepreneurs Association, Ms. Le Thi Kim Hang said that the cooperation goals are concretized into many contents: from enhancing brand promotion, improving production capacity, quality standards, to coordinating training, digital transformation and trade promotion. “We hope to turn today's commitment into real action, measurable by specific numbers on sales and the level of Hue brand spread in the market,” Ms. Hang added.

Also on this occasion, the cooperation orientation for the period 2025 - 2027 was clearly defined by the parties, focusing on practical and long-term activities. The parties will coordinate to organize training courses on business administration, marketing skills and product quality standards to improve the capacity of cooperatives and young businesses. At the same time, "Co.opmart Hue Product Festival" will be held periodically to both promote the brand and promote the consumption of local goods. A set of product standards suitable for modern distribution channels will be built, serving as a basis for Hue goods to penetrate deeper into the retail system. In addition, a feedback and evaluation mechanism for cooperation effectiveness will be established regularly, ensuring transparency and measuring specific results of the program.

It can be seen that the above association is a strategic step, aiming to improve competitiveness, develop a sustainable supply chain, and take advantage of the domestic consumption power of more than 100 million people. Not only that, this event not only opens up opportunities for local products to enter the modern distribution system, but also affirms the value and potential of Vietnamese goods right at home, in the context of increasingly fierce competition from imported goods.
