Signing ceremony of digital transformation cooperation agreement for the period 2025 - 2030 between Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone People's Committee and VNPT Phu Quoc

This is a strategic step to create a synchronous telecommunications and information technology infrastructure, promote the construction of e-government and improve the quality of service to local people.

According to the agreement, the two sides agreed to cooperate comprehensively on four pillars: developing digital infrastructure; building digital government; promoting digital economy ; and developing a people-centered digital society. VNPT Phu Quoc will accompany the deployment of shared data platforms, smart operation centers, smart healthcare - education solutions, digital payments, e-commerce and digital skills training for officials, civil servants and people.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of VNPT Phu Quoc affirmed their commitment to mobilizing maximum resources, technology and human resources, and being present at the grassroots level to accompany the locality in the comprehensive digital transformation process. The representative of the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Economic Zone expressed his hope that VNPT will continue to support the completion of telecommunications and IT infrastructure, contributing to improving management efficiency, serving the people better and promoting sustainable development for the special economic zone in the new period.

The ceremony ended in an exciting atmosphere, opening a new chapter for the journey of "Phu Quoc - Smart, modern, sustainable special economic zone" with the pioneering companionship of VNPT.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Phu Quoc Special Zone People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the cooperation of VNPT An Giang province and VNPT Phu Quoc in supporting infrastructure and technology solutions to serve local management and operation. The leaders of the special zone emphasized that in the coming time, special attention should be paid to overcoming the weak network situation in coastal areas, meeting the increasing demand for technology and communication of people and tourists.

The cooperation between the People's Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone and VNPT Phu Quoc is expected to contribute to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, concretizing the breakthroughs set forth by the Phu Quoc Special Zone Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; aiming at the goal of building a digital government, developing a digital economy and digital society, expanding the application of technology in key areas, thereby improving competitiveness and promoting sustainable development for Phu Quoc Special Zone.
